Buying pet food online with Kohepets

Smithankyou     5/18/2018 01:39:00 PM     brover, kohepets, marshall, online shopping, pets, sponsored post, Ted     3 comments

Brover . Marshall . Ted

One of the most frequently asked questions that I get from people visiting my house is how my dog and cats can actually live in harmony. I wouldn't exactly say it's in harmony since Brover bullies Ted quite a bit while Marshall avoids Brover at all costs. Ted and Marshall have a longest running love-hate relationship where they hug and sleep together for a moment and fight in the next.

Truth is it's not that hard. It's probably a myth that dogs will always hate cats. That being said,  that might be some truth to it because of differences in living habits and playing style but one thing that brings them all together has to be food.

It's not easy to handle these 3 little ones especially after having little Seth. Lucky for us we have my helper who will give us a hand in everything and of course Kohepets!

Kohepets is an online pet supplies store that specialises in premium pet brands, such as Addiction, Wellness, Merrick and K9 Natural. They have one of the widest product ranges available online. With over 6,000 products, I'm sure you can find anything you like and best part? SENT TO YOUR DOORSTEP! They even offer free shipping if your purchase is over $60 which is very easily achievable if you are getting big packs of food for your furkids.

They even have a section where you can get free sample before buying so you will know if your pets really like the product before buying!

And if you a new pet owners you can also find loads of tips on their blog too!

Anyway, enough of me talking. Go check them out!

10 things you need to know about the new Instax SQ10 before its launch

Smithankyou     5/17/2017 09:30:00 AM     fujifilm, photography, sponsored post     1 comment

I know the popularity of listicles has already left us along with the final episode of How I Met Your Mother, but you know we are talking about Fujifilm's new Instax SQ10 so I thought the 10 is an interesting word play. What? No? Deal with it. My space my say. :p

1. Wooohooo~~ Square Prints

Unlike the previous versions of Instax, this is the very first Instax that prints in square format. Think Insta-ready!

2. microSD Slot

We all know how it feels when you take a very nice Instax print and wish you have it digital format so you can upload it onto Facebook or Instagram. Now your problem is solved. With the microSD slot, all you have to do is transfer the file back onto your computer or phone. And the good news is that it's estimated that you can take up to 1,000 pictures per gb of space on your microSD card!

3. Tripod mount

Tripod mount on an Instax? You must be wondering why. This Instax SQ10 is really something. On top of just point, shoot, and print. There are also multiple ways for you to have fun with photography instead of just selfies. There is the Bulb mode (aka slow shutter) where the shutter will open and capture more light. This mode is especially useful if you wish to capture buildings or roads at night. And for that mode, you would very much need the tripod's help. Besides this mode, you also have the double exposure and macro mode.

4. Rechargeable Battery

Good news? No more purchasing of AA batteries! And if you are wondering, the battery life is really pretty good. I've charged mine once and have been shooting quite a bit for the last few days and it's still going strong.

5. No more wastage of film

With the screen you can now choose which picture to print before you print it. This is especially useful for people who erm, can't shoot THAT well.

6. Still an instant print

If the previous function is a turn-off for you, don't worry. The good people at Fujifilm sure did put some thought into this. There are a lot of people who enjoy Instax camera for what it is – Instant printing. The whole surprise element of how each picture will turn out. So there actually is a switch that allows the camera to print its picture in an instant. Simply turn the switch to Auto instead of manual.

7. Pre and Post Edit

One of the things that really amazes me about this Instax SQ10 is how easy it is for everyone. You don't have a professional photographer to shoot your OOTDs for you? No problem. Anyone can do it for you with the Instax SQ10. You can actually edit the brightness, vignette control, and even choose any of the 10 different filters available both before and after the shot was taken. It's THAT easy!

And all the functions are just within these few buttons. No complicated functions like Photoshop.

8. Thumbnail Print mode

Not a fan of printing multiple pictures individually but yet you want everything to be printed? (sounds like a typical woman who cannot make decisions lol) You now have the thumbnail print function that allows you to print up to 9 images on one print making it look like a screen grab off your Instagram account! Not exactly my thing so here's a picture of how it looks.

9. It's effectively a digital camera and more

I know it's not common that people buy point and shoot cameras anymore these days because it's either you use your mobile phone or invest in DSLR or mirrorless cameras. Based on these functions I've spoken, the Instax SQ10 is effectively a digital camera that one can enjoy the fun of photography anytime! It's what they call it the Hybrid Instant Camera.

10. It's launching on 19th May

It's coming real soon and it's retailing at $499. I heard a lot of sad cries wanting this but they have already got the previous Instax. Trust me, it's a whole new different experience and it's totally worth it. You can always put the old one online and sell it away to fund this LOL.

Happy clicking!

DIBS AT 51 Duxton Rd, 089515

Smithankyou     1/11/2016 10:51:00 AM     DIBS, Duxton, Food, Food Review, sponsored post     No comments
I must be glad that I did most of my dating in the early 2000s. I really ain't one of those guys who knows where to bring ladies for a good date. Romantic gesture from me, yes, but nice dining place probably ain't my forte. I am so mainstream when it comes to food that we will probably end up at hooters for western, loy kee chicken rice chinese, and sushi tei for japanese food. Maybe even mcdonalds' for my favourite double cheese burger.

I'm not saying those ain't decent food but with the blooming culture of hipsters cafe and indie restaurant, i am probably your worst date if you are judging me based on where we are having our meals. #CouldHaveBeenForeverAlone

If you have the same problem as me, don't worry as I have something to save your life. If you are looking at impressing some guests from overseas or some chicks during a date, or even just a place that you can visiting regularly - DIBS is the place.

LOVE THE RED MONSTER OUTSIDE DIBS!

DIBS has been at duxton for slightly more than 2 years but they recently had a change of management and revamped their menu!

One of the things that really caught my attention was their food menu. Their food menu are written on small cards instead of the typical booklet or A4 size paper. Why? because they actually update and change their menu as often as every 1 - 2 months. To make things even more fun, they also offer a "?" card where you let the chef decides for you what to eat! Very good for ladies who can't make up their mind on dates. You can now look adventurous instead of indecisive, haha.

Parmesan Sticks. Truffle Egg white foam and Confit Egg Yolk
Tasting portion of "Fresh Catch" - F.O.D with Nori CousCous Horseradish pea puree and Miso Glaze
TomYam Pumpkin Risotto

The team at DIBS gives me a feeling that they ain't in the business just because it is a business but rather because they really love their food. Each and everyone of their staffs are able to explain their food and share some insights to you. The service is really very good as you can feel that each and everyone of them do it with their heart! And just based on the menu and food we are getting, you could tell that they enjoy cooking and get creative with the dishes. TomYam Risotto? That must be the 1st right! (Okay lah, at least to me lor)

Special for the day - Tasting portion of Atas looking Bak Kut Teh! Yes, this tasted like Bak Kut Teh!
This must be one of my favourite? It is so pretty and very tasty at the same time. The Chinese in me was telling the chef that I want to order a bowl of white rice? This is actually savoury and will taste really good with a bowl of rice! There goes my carbo count. LOL.

I really love their food selection. Besides the fact that is it rather creative and also that it ain't like deep fried stuff or very heavy stuff. It is the kind of food that you date will not complain about feeling fat after eating!! Totally suitable to bring your date there where both of you can erm, act demure and still have a good time instead of just munching on greens and pretending that you like it.

Is it very rude to say "fucking hell" was my highlight at DIBS when they have all the nice food?
Fuck it, I love my fucking hell!

Mac&Cheese. I did not tag this picture wrongly. It is Macarons and Dragonfruit Cheesecake! Creative right!
They also have a very good selection of desserts which includes one of our hipsters favourite - Churros. Actually the MUST try dessert is the Chocolate Shell!! It was so good that erm.. I didn't take a picture of it. :p #Fail

So now you have heard about this place from me. I hope you can bring a date there to impress her. And if you do not have a date to bring, you can bring me. I do not mind going again really! (In fact I already went back after the food tasting session with a friend. Not a date lah, she is just a friend who came back to Singapore for holiday as she is currently working in HK. And she loved it too! See, #TestedProven)

Smithankyou     12/11/2015 09:12:00 AM     grooming, Male Beauty, male grooming, man face wash, skin care, sponsored post, teaser, tonickit     No comments
Even their box looking so sleek and sexy! (Like me. okay, you might disagree the part about me.)

We all love gifts especially since it is Christmas but there are things we joke about like giving fragrances means the receiver is smelly? And does getting skin care products means my face is damn bad shape?? NOOOOOOOO!!!

That's obviously not the case (I hope)!! I am sure if your partner get anything related to wellness for you is simply because they care about your well being. (Erm, unless it is sliming pills?)

Anyway, see what I've gotten from the good people from www.tonickit.com I'm actually very excited to try out all their products and see how my face transform!!

Stay tuned to this space and I will share with you more about what tonickit is all about! Meanwhile you can also click on the link above and check it out yourself.

Mr.Smith, cleaner skin gets more kisses. #TrueStory

Smithankyou     12/05/2015 09:00:00 AM     alcatel, gadget, Gadget Review, giveaway, phones, sponsored post     No comments

I was a little surprised when I heard Alcatel launched a new smart phone but that's not the only surprise I've got after asking around and did some research online.

This Android OS Smart phone only cost you $199 SGD at launch (4 Dec 2015) on http://www.lazada.sg/alcatel-flash-2/. That's actually really affordable considering how smart phone these days are always rather expensive?

And just look at these pictures I saw taken by Claudia from Alvinology.com when she was in NZ!

So I was quite surprised by how nice the pictures are that I had to message Claudia to find out if she did any edit to the images but the answer was no! Quite a phone for the price isn't it?

13M pixel. For some reason it felt better from those pictures taken by Claudia.
To find out more: http://www.alcatelflash.com/flash-2/

The surprise the Alcatel tell is giving just doesn't stop here? They even have a giveaway!! #DontSayBoJio

Simply tell them what you like about the phone and stand a chance to win? EASY!! Link

I'm gonna join this and hope I can win something! Good Luck to you guys! I mean bad luck to you guys so I can be the winner! :P

My Ko Samui Trip In Numbers

Smithankyou     11/30/2015 08:00:00 AM     asia361, bangkok airways, centera, diary, jaslyn, jessica, jun, ko samui, pohtecktoes, resort, sethlui, sponsored post, superadrianme, thailand, the library, travel     No comments
I've been to Thailand for a good 10 years before 2015 and in 2015 I actually visited Thailand 3 times? Bangkok, Ko Samui and Phuket. Although they are part of Thailand but all 3 places felt almost different?

What's a trip to Thailand without visit Temples right?

My office has a better view than yours!
Healthy Food is Healthy. Totally works for my diet plan! If you haven't - HERE

And if you have been reading my blog you will noticed I've better pictures this time! Thanks to a friend's camera and another teaching me how to edit my pictures. It's not the best best but I think it is good work in progress. After like 10,000 years of blogging and I'm finally having some decent pictures. I think it really looks kinda decent lah hor. And besides the fact that Ko Samui is really pretty and some of my pictures doesn't even do it justice. sigh.

Anyway, presenting to you Ko Samui in numbers!

0 is the number of

Since I say I didn't eat, obvious this picture was from another trip right?
Pad Kra Pao I had. This Pad Kra Pao is actually like my favourite thai food ever BUT the truth is there's a lot more food in thailand than just Pad Kra Pao!

1 is the number of

MANGO STICKY RICE! No Trip to Thailand is complete without Mango sticky rice!

2 is the number of

times we had massages and spa treatment! Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary and Holistic Spa was more than just another spa parlour. They are actually a resort for you to find yourself again (if I may). They have different lessons such as gym, yoga etc, and their rooms has no TV? It's seated on top of a mountain(or was it hill) and the view was beautiful! It's one of those things you do after a break up or the whole "eat pray love" thing? And another spa treatment was actually done at Dusita Spa which is along the heart of Ko Samui where you have all the pubs, food, street shopping. I really love how busy the streets were!! #CityKid

also the number of temples we visited. Not exactly the most religions person out that but the visit to the Wat Khunaram (Mummified Monk) was pretty interesting. Like his body just didn't decomposed on its own. Can you believe it?

3 is the number of

CENTARA GRAND BEACH RESORT SAMUI 38/2 Moo 3, Borpud, Chaweng Beach
CENTARA VILLAS SAMUI 111 Moo 2 Maret, Nathien Beach Samui 84310, Thailand

THE LIBRARY
14/1 Moo2 Chaweng Beach, Koh
Suratthani 84320, Thailand
Resorts we were hosted at! We were hosted at two different Centara resorts and The Library. The Centara has this classic feel to it where it will definitely be a place you want to bring your family with you to have a good break from the city. They have a wide range of rooms that caters to different needs. The Library was a not just a thematic resort but it was also super pretty. It is so pretty that I had problem capturing how it looks like? You guys should really check out it's site. It will definitely be one of those resort that I will visit again! And yes, guys who wants to impress a girl (or two. or three) this is the place you bring her to and you guys will have a good time if you get what I mean.

4 is the number of

Coconut I had during the trip.

Photo taken at Santiburi Golf Samui. Superb View!

Crazy Singaporean Writers I travelled with! So besides me there was this #TheTravelIntern dude, pohtecktoes who happens to be my ex intern from 7/8 years ago. And also the young girl writers who were super energetic. They are Jaslyn from Asia361.com, June from Sethlui.com and Jessica from SuperADRIANME.com. Funny story, 3Js!! And I have to say these 3 sites are damn nice to me? They know I would prefer their young intern instead of traveling with Alvin, Seth and Adrian themselves so they decided to send all 3 young girls to me. YES! #FriendsForever I owe you guys! (And they finally taught me how to use snapchat. Old man is old already. Not catching up.)

And oh, I did not fail my math (just a C6 during my O levels), there is this other gentlemen there who is the representative from Bangkok Airways! And they have their own airport! How freaking cool right?

calories probably in kala noodles. Kala noodles means coconut husk noodles. Not because it is cooked with coconut but because it is served in a bowl that looks like a coconut husk. To be honest I've no clue how much calories is in there. It tasted pretty healthy to be honest. And also you know the place that was selling this is freaking cool? It's like a road side store on the outside and a super pretty resort on the inside. How pretty? GPGT!

The street store outside.
Villa Nalinnadda 84310, Thailand. I got confused with the address but here's the number. +66 77 233 131
Wedding photos in the pool!

To be honest I've no idea if that the right name but it's damn nice? I'm sure you will like it!!! Very local and you know they have all these pictures of celebrity taking pictures with the auntie. They have a few different style. Like crab sauce, spicy fish oil sauce etc etc. I love the spicy fish oil one. It's very tasty and it's not spicy like overpowering and you only taste nothing but chili? And their dessert is superb!! They have this pulut hitam looking thing with corn? That's my favourite! Super sweet (like you guys reading my blog) and yummy!

93737 is the number of

The cocktail at the drinking gallery is damn pretty?

Do you guys know the saying of "did not shower" and bring bad luck? Like wah lau you never shower ah that's why rain cannot play basketball later. of the rain.

And talking about Bangkok Airways, they have good news for you! I ate fruits because of prik glua!
The Grand Father CRock!
My Favourite Model.

If you remember my BKK Trip you would remember that I wasn't really impressed but I actually had a pretty great time at Ko Samui. So maybe I'm more of a resort holiday person I guess? Anyway, here's the poll of the post! Is Ko Samui a place you will visit someday?
