Why am I so particular about Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War spoilers.

It's ten years worth of build-up. But that's not all.

Usually I'm not exactly a big anti-spoiler kind of guy. In fact sometimes I'll even ask my friends for spoilers so I have something to look forward to in a show but why am I so particular about this one?

1. We all know how most of the other Marvel's movies went down. Spiderman got bitten by a spider and ya dah ya dah, you get the point, but so far even after multiple movie trailers, we really do not have much clues where this movie is going.

2. So much talks about the show, the show has spent so much effort to keep things under the blanket, not releasing the real ending to even the cast, having fake marketing materials to mess with fans, and even this video. These work should be appreciated.



3. I've watched the show, the show is a decent movie, not much of a different from any other Marvel movies. It's entertaining, it's funny but it's no Oscar winning stuff and the best thing about the show is probably the element of surprise. You paid for the ticket and got the full experience and I feel that you should allow your friends to have the same. Respect.

Why am I so excited about Guardians Of The Galaxy

These bunch of crazy misfits are coming your way to save the galaxy this time you like it or not and I am really excited about it.

Who are they?

The truth about "the guardians of the galaxy" is that nobody, I say almost like nobody knows who they are unless you are a comic reader or you played the game - Marvel vs Capcom 3.

That would be me. When I 1st played the game and saw this "cute" Raccoon and that's where I came across this Raccoon. So who are they? Are they just another group of "Avengers" or another group of super heroes that want to do good, save the world, protect their love ones or simply because "with great power comes great responsibility"?

In fact they are so unknown I'm actually surprised they managed to get investors to invest in this movie!

Supporting the right side

You know how you watch a movie and you will choose a side and support someone in the show? The fact is that we all do that but I really do not get people on their choice. Why always support the good and typical self-righteous hypocrite that only want to do good things that is boring and save the world? So many of these "villains" are all misunderstood.

Let me tell you some of the people I support in the movies I watched.

Agent Smith - All time top of the list. He replicated himself over and over again. Wanted to change the world and make it a better place, we all know the machines are evil, so he wanted to take them all out. Neo is so emotional and boring. In fact that is where I got the inspiration of my name. My number 1 hero!

Joker - He taught us some important lessons in life. "Why so serious"? "Never do something you are good at for free." See, a man of wisdom. He see that human at Gotham are bad and he wants to put a stop to it.

Loki - He was kidnap and kept away from his real parents. Can you blame him for being unhappy? He just want to help his parents to get back what was theirs. Filial Piety. 

Moriarty - Sherlock is a Sociopath, he is rude, he has no EQ, he doesn't knows anything about love and he bully Watson all the time. This guy is against him. He is smart and he is standing against the biggest sociopath on this alone. This guy deserve a medal!

Freeza - Goku is a Saiyan sent to destroy Earth. Vegeta, Piccolo tried to destroy Earth, he wants to kill all 3 of them. So who is the hero here? And he sacrificed all his friends trying to get the dragon balls so he can live forever watching over the world. See how much self sacrifice that was.

Tyrion Lannister - One of the smartest man in the 7 realms. He knew he might die in the battle but he fought to keep the spirit of his soldiers high. He is realistic, objective and non-pretentious about things he do in life. And he always pays his debt, man of honour.

Rumpelstiltskin - Of course Dearie, the one man that always help you when you need help. All he is asking for is to let you guys learn your lesson that every has a price so nobody will abuse him. Which other friends of yours will always and I mean always help you? And he is a man of honour, he always honour his deal!

Xerxes - He is a kind God. He knew Leonidas and the other 300 good man is going to die and he offered an option but Leonidas was arrogant not to give in just because he think he is a Spartan. He wanted to make things better for the world but uniting them.

Nobody understand me...

Besides my bro, Player King of New York City - Barney Stinson. He is the only person that I know that support the right side ALL the time.

It's simply having a group of outlaws and letting them save the galaxy. How awesome is that? Finally they are the rewarding the real heroes with what they deserved.

This is what is awesome about all these people I've mentioned. They get to do something good and something bad... A bit of both and that is the truth of life. Nobody can always do only good things, there are point in life that we need to do something bad in order for something good to come. 

Something Good

Talking about something good, something good did happen to me last Saturday. I get to meet not just two of the main actors but also the director and writer of the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy!

Almost couldn't believe my eyes that they are here in Singapore

Dave Bautista. What can I say? This big intimidating WWE star is so down to earth. He was the 1st to reached and last to complete his red carpet. He really do his best to make sure everyone gets a piece of him. He even signed random things that has nothing to do with him like Basketball and Skateboard. Given the hot weather and what he was wearing, even I might be a diva and just go "nah.. I'm not going to sign all these shit."

Oh, and why were we at the cinema? 

Because we get to watch a 17 min special preview of the show in IMAX 3D!! So freaking awesome. I can't wait to watch the full show! That's my gay buddy Ben. He's funny. Follow him on Twitter.

Oh, and "we" kinda took a selfie together as a whole event. To be honest despite being there and I was just a step away from taking a selfie with these guys I did not. I'm never one of those guy that get star struck thus I did not take any selfies with these famous people. I guess I'm more of a fan of their characters in the show then really fans of the actors. I guess more of a Marvel fan boy in this situation. 

The painful part

Now the painful part is that I have to wait till 31st July to catch the show. AHHHH!!!!

Amazing Spider-man 2

Just when you thought Superheroes movies should be coming to an end of the Era no thanks to Avengers. I mean, look at it, you already desperately assemble everyone into a show to gather all the fan boys and put the box office at the top, how can you beat it?

Apparently I'm wrong. Because there is this thing that beat the Avengers (and Loki) this time and like all movies the greatest power is call love. (Yes, Love > Fear > Anger) 

And love comes in so many forms. In war movies, in chick flick and what not, and especially these days when sex scene and nude scene seems to be part of every movie and even Tv series.

Sometimes it's the fire. They burnt my clothes. I did not take them off.

But this is different! This is superhero movie! I mean yes, the action, the fight, the villain(who no longer surprise us anymore because we know he/they will lose the final fight), the costumes, the 3D is very awesome but the scenes between Emma and Andrew is just so awesome. Sorry to sound like a 17 year old school girl but..

Anyway, besides how awesome their love is.. there are other things that is pretty good in the show too

1. Spiderman got way more humorous which should be, that's how peter parker is.

2. The 3D scenes are really nice, especially when he flies around. So remember to watch it in 3D.

3. Emma STONE IS SO CUTE!!!

4. THERE IS NO AFTER CREDITS SCENE IN AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2

5. Super heroes/ Villain in this show. (kinda spoiler):

Spider-man, Electro, Green Goblin, Rhino and Black Cat (Yes, you will miss this I bet you.) And you will also see some obvious super villain "toys" in the shows hanging at the back ground. Typical right?

Please bear with my not so proper Chinese sentence structure. On Wang Wang, you can even ask for a discount or free shipping if you have purchased in a bit bulk. (Or thick skin enough like me. :X) 

And because of Wang Wang, things can be discussed fairly quickly, they will actually tell you immediately on certain items that runs out of stock etc. So it is really easy to use. I once had an experience with other site that you can only Email to ask question and it took me 72 hours to correct my order and it was too late because they already sent that item out. So I'm really glad they have this function!

So on my previous post, I've discussed about this forwarder that you can use. It's really convenient. So you can have 3-4 items sending towards the forwarder and you do not need to send it to Singapore immediately 1 by 1. This is like the most common question I am getting these days. So far there are two ways that I've tried. 1 is paying directly using your credit card OR you can simply go to any AXS machine and purchase these shopping credits. Top it up to 支付宝 which is like an internal paypal system and you can shop away. Paying with 支付宝 is a very simple process especially for those who are very concern about your credit card details. Point to note: you are not allowed to split your payment using half shopping credit and half on your credit card. If you really wish to do so, I suggest you split your products into two groups and make two payment instead of one.

It's Thor-tally AWESOME!

When I was younger I spent a lot of time reading comics and watching all these superheroes cartoon off TV. One of my favourite has to be Thor because he is big, he is 100% sense of justice and doing what is right unlike some other superheroes.

I was kinda excited when I know they were having a movie of year some years back and of course the news of him being featured in a few other movies like Thor 2 and Avengers and more. And the day has finally come- THOR 2. So where is Thor 2 picking up from?

Why is Thor so cool?

Besides the fact that he has very nice biceps and a very hot girlfriend, Jane Foster who is actually Natalie Portman, he has one of the coolest weapon in comic history ever. The Mjolnir.

 Do you know that in other universe of Thor's comic, Thor is more like a 2nd "person" that will possesses another person when the weapon is being activated by striking it on the floor? One of the most epic conceal has to be the walking stick by Donald Blake. I think if I have the Mjolnir (and I can actually wield it), I shall have it disguise as my handphone app and only summon it via an app. I will probably uses it's weather manipulation ability the most considering the fact that I am staying in Singapore with inconsistent and unpredictable weather. And IPPT = RAIN PLEASE. :D 

You didn't ask me but... (A little bit of a spoiler)

This show could easily be known as Thor 2 - We Love LOKI. 

The role Loki was so well portrayed by Tom and he is just so cool and smart. As compared to Thor who is all muscles and a little bit of a emo case. "YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU BROTHER." and next he will he " I WILL KILL YOU BROTHER." And apparently everyone who have watched the show loves Loki. And yes, LOKI IS SUPER AWESOME! Brains over muscles Thor!

Worst Super Hero EVER!

And you thought super heroes like Batman and Ironman is really cool but not so "super" because they are just rich and that makes them lame; you have to know there are worst.

When I say worst I mean really really bad, he is so bad that when I was doing my research on "worst super hero" he was totally forgotten.

And you thought having any super power should easily make you really cool, think again.

Introducing Eye-Scream. He is a real super hero from Marvel and not made up by me.

Every man needs a woman in his life - An Iron Man 3 Review.

What is one of the most important thing about a man being really "successful" in life? It is about having a special someone you can love and share your success (and pain.)

So in the latest Iron Man 3 - the most highly anticipated part of the show for me was actually Gwyneth Paltrow's role - Pepper wearing the Iron Man suit.



Sorry if you didn't know and I did a spoiler and spoil the fun but guess what? I have yet to watch the show myself too!

As much as I wished to be at the launch party myself, I was caught up with super hero duties to protect the country.( aka reservist.)

Iron Man 3 Review -

Spoilers aside, the latest installation of Iron Man is a must watch. It compresses the elements of awesome suits, action, excitement, humour and a bit of love. This show definitely kept me sitting at the edge throughout, though there were moments where I told myself not to worry because its too soon for Iron Man to die or be defeated in the first 45 minutes of the screening.

I would admit that I am your typical girl who just adores Robert Downey Jr (and his suits, sexiness and sophistication) and thus is thrilled to be invited to yesterday's Iron Man 3 movie premiere. Which also means, I have NO CLUE what was illustrated on the comic book. Yes, I went with my ditzy and infatuated mind.

Iron Man 3 was action-packed but without suits on. Super hero fantasy but with current affairs. Humourous but at times unexpected. Egoistic with a touch of softness and love.
