Always wanted to do this and I finally got to it.

Of course this was inspired by the great Michael Jordan.

Of course the kinda great rapper Macklemore has this song and of course he did it as well. Every kids' dream to be like mike?

Everybody has a hero growing up in their life growing up or even as a grown up. Who is yours?

Anyway, here's Wing$.

P.S. Thanks Ian for the shooting the pic and Jac for editing the color for me.

FIBA World Cup #Spain2014 Winner - Team USA

Smithankyou     9/15/2014 05:33:00 AM     basketball, basketballneverstops, fiba world cup, NBA, sports, team usa     No comments
Image from FIBA.com
It was their game to lose right from the start. Team USA did it once again despite not having some of the best players in the league such as LBJ, Kobe and Durant. It's pretty amazing how Rose was able to play and also decided to play through out. Let's hope he can have a smooth season coming 2014/15.

FIBA has always been a Team USA dominated sports and it's no surprise they won again. The only surprise was Spain got knocked out early despite having a good start at the tournament. While on the other hand, France made it to top 3 with the help of the lastest NBA Champion - Boris Diaw!
That's some shit ass ugly jersey. Image from airalamo.com
Can't wait for 2014/15 season to tip off! Comon #Lakers!

NBA Champion 2013/14

Smithankyou     6/16/2014 03:43:00 PM     #BeatTheHeat, basketball, Champion, girls, MIAMI HEAT, NBA, Spurs     No comments
Congratulations to the Spurs for winning this one.

I can't say I am a fan or in fact being a Lakers fan makes me hate them. We have so many head to head during the playoffs over the years... We are rivals.

This man deserves it.
I guess Gregg Popovich is the real MVP after all. Keeping the big boys' ego intact and making everyone play team boy.

I am glad they did the dirty work of beating the heat.

To sum up 2013/14 NBA season? Thank God it is over. - Lakers Fan.

If this blog post is boring, I am sorry and here is my apology.

NBA Playoffs 2014 - End of Round 1.

Smithankyou     5/06/2014 12:55:00 PM     #BeatTheHeat, basketball, Damian Lillard, NBA, Playoffs, Portland., sports     No comments
The story so far.  Round 1 has ended and I must say it's something we didn't thought much of.

Boston Celtics and Lakers didn't make the Playoffs this season. I mean if you were following the season you wouldn't find this a surprise but if you only know these big names, sorry to disappoint you but hey, they ain't here with us.

Can you imagine in '09, someone time travel back and tell you lakers and boston will be out while Bobcats and Wizards will be in? You will most likely go "tsk, please"

What more did we not guess is that there were 5.. 1.2.3.4.5, 5 Game 7 in the 1st round of playoffs which is a record! And the Okc vs Memphis series? 4 over time game.

From the look of it, it seems like Miami is the only guys who had a smooth ride... along with Washington Wizards! YAY!

Anyway my favourite 5 according to position this 1st Round

Marc Gasol
Lemarcus Aldrige
Lebron James
James Harden
Damian Lillard

Yes, that 5ive.

And the Moment of Round 1?

Good Bye DH12 Houston!

It's a shame that Pacers are playing so badly and it's even worst that Hawks lost game 7 that way. Hawks just came in not trying hard enough.

Bobcats came in contended. "Hey, I'm already in the playoffs so that's already a bonus right?" Bad mentality. They didn't believe they could win either. Didn't put up a fight.

So conf semi finals, my pick

West: Portland, OKC

East: Wizards, Nets

well of course I'm hoping these guys can win. Not like I'm saying they WILL win.

Everything is possible!

Mr.Smith, #BeatTheHeat

SPALDING CELEBRATES 30th ANNIVERSARY AS THE OFFICIAL GAME BALL OF NBA

Smithankyou     2/24/2014 10:34:00 AM     basketball, event, NBA, spalding, sports town, westgate, world of sports     1 comment
Hello Basketball fans!

Some trivia questions to start your week:

When was NBA founded?

Answer: 1946

Which is the current official game ball for NBA?

Answer: Spalding

How long has Spalding been their official game ball?

Answer: 30 years!

Yup! No joke, it has been that long! Which is guess what? As old as I am!

So in conjunction with this big day, the good people at Sports Town by World of Sports had a 30% storewide sales at Westgate last Friday.

Original picture from ST.
I know it's over but you do not need to go all boohoohoo just because you do not get to benefit from the sale. The good news is that the exhibition of the signatured balls will still be there until 13 March! If you are too lazy for Journey to the West, you can check out the pictures I've taken but I'm telling you the real things are way cooler!

The limited edition 30th Anniversary ball.

James Harden signatured ball!

Can you guess who's signature is this?

They even have some basketballer at the event to rah-rah the crowd! But less swag as compared to me lah!

Spalding became the official basketball of the NBA during the 1983-84 NBA season. Since that time, Spalding has been a part of the NBA's tremendous growth to 30 franchises, programming in 215 countries and territories in 47 languages, and NBA merchandise for sale in more than 125,000 stores in 100 countries on six continents.
So don't forget to visit Westgate's Sports Town and check out the exhibition and of course keep on balling!

Shopping for sporting needs with World Of Sports.

Smithankyou     11/18/2013 08:30:00 AM     basketball, collection, event, mizuno, nikewerun, shoes, world of sports     1 comment
I started the year feeling slow old and fat. The only physical activity I was doing was my not so regular basket balling games over the weekend. I'm injury prone so I don't play that much even when I am on the court side. I look at myself and I was telling myself this ain't how I want my life to me.

Moreover, moving to Punggol and everyone work out there, run and cycle. It just make you feel healthier just by breathing the air there.

So I bought some weights started lifting it. Started cycling, playing more ball and also running slowly again and also joined some running events recently trying my best to get back into shape. (When was I ever in shape?)

Mizuno Run 2013
One of the biggest problem that I faced with wasn't just the lack of stamina or really lazy but the vain pot in me was shouting in my face that you need to be in the right attire for every occasion. I really can't stand men who goes to work in pants and running shoes or going for a basketball game in his polo Ts and slippers. I mean besides the fact that I am very vain, I also believe that there is a right attire for every occasion. Go ahead and judge me but I know I am right.

Some of my shoes.
So what was the problem? I do not have enough sports attire cause I haven't been exercising much. The only thing that I have a lot are NBA jerseys and no, you do not wear NBA jerseys for run.

Just a few only lah.
Good thing I was introduced to the World Of Sports membership card! For just $49 per year, members are immediately rewarded with a Head duffle bag (RP: $69.90), a Columbia toiletries pouch (RP: $25.90) and a HEAD water bottle (RP: $15.90). Goodies aside, members can also look forward to huge savings from exclusive in-store promotion and discounts all year round.

Don't mean to sound like the bimbo but the card is actually pretty good looking!

There is a wide selection of brands at World of Sports. Including brands like Mizuno, Columbia, Salomon and many more. On top of that you can also enjoy benefits at their partners such as Crowne Plaza Hotel Changi Airport, Absolute Zero etc. So you can get some nice sporting goods and enjoy other benefits too! For more information you can always drop by at WOS and pick up a brochure!

So in conjunction with introducing some new partners for this card. The good people at WOS and Rollerblade organized a nice inline skate workshop for us! Been awhile since I last skate and they did give me some good tips too! It was super fun!

Fun Fact: Rollerblade is actually a brand and the thing we use is known as inline skate. It's like how we commonly call instant noodles maggie mee and all diapers as pampers.

So now not only am I going to work out, I will work out in style!

Mr.Smith, nice dry fit t-shirt, speed +1, nice sunglasses, defense +2, nice mizuno running shoes, stamina +3.

What is your motivation?

Smithankyou     8/29/2013 12:07:00 PM     basketball, books, community, diary, fear, greed, love, motivation, NBA, phil jackson, scared hoops, social media     No comments
"Man's greatest motivation in life is Fear and Greed."

According to Phil Jackson's book "Sacred Hoops", that is what his CEO of Chicago Bulls believe. And how true is that and how untrue is that?

Being a marketing and advertising person, it's not uncommon that we try to go into the head of our target and think from their perspective. How will I make them buy my product? How will I make them join my contest? Basically, what are the consumers' behavior towards our product. We might not be psychiatrist but we do spend a lot of time doing that and sometimes the answer we get is pretty good. So how often do we use greed and fear to motivate them and does it work?

Fear

Honestly, this use to be my bread and butter as a sales man selling events and planning services. We will always make event planning sounds so difficult. The trouble of getting the right licensing for the right kind of show. PELU, Compass, NEA, BCA, SPF and many more. It is so mind blowing that the client will say it in his mind "Wah, so many things to do just for a roadshow? Damn, I always thought I just need some girls in bikinis to give away my flyers." Thanks to all these ruling in Singapore, it makes events planning kinda intimidating and that's where I come in to help you with getting the paper work done and best of all we do it all the time and it is like a snap of a fingers to me.

I guess it works the same for many other sales man from insurance to the guy who sells magic mop or some super sharp knives or even the property agent. One of the classic would be " I've got another person viewing this unit too. So let me know if you are interested else the other person might want to put the down payment 1st." Tar dar. And more often than not people fall into such "motivational traps". All you need is someone to push you over the top on saying yes.

Greed

Looking at this two motivational source, they sounded more like vice and sins to me than anything else and the bad news is that they are something that I work around.

How do I use greed? Familiar with these terms?

"50% Discount"
"Was $299 now $149 ONLY"
"Buy 1 get 1 free"
"LIKE MY FACEBOOK PAGE AND GET A FREE APPLE PIE!"

So I guess that rest are self-explanatory isn't it. Greed has always been the easiest form of motivation even in day to day case. "I buy you lunch if you...." "I give you this if you...." And our basic performance bonuses, year end bonus and what not bonuses at work. But are all this monetary bonus something that keep people in companies and making them happy and work in 100% effort or even 110% effort?

Zen master says...
it's love and community. That is what Phil Jackson believes. He believes that the power of community and love beats Greed and Fear anytime. And he wrote that book in the 90s. And do you know what he just said? He just pointed out at us the beauty of social media - which is Love and Community.

Community and Love

The best motivation as pointed out by Phil. Greed and Fear and only bring you this far but a good community brings you further. This is what social media is. Viral. How someone shares something and everyone else buy. The logic of why we prefer to read blogs and try things that are being talked about online. The community. The basic logic of "when everyone is trying it out, it can't be wrong." The Love when your friends ask you to do things as a team when you feel accepted as something as a team - Oneness.

I remember how I spent my money like water thanks to community love. Forums. I used to collect toys, I still do but not as crazy and how did things got out of hand? Mass orders at forum, people sharing what they just gotten and what is a must buy. You have no idea how many of those toys I got just because everyone else has it and sometimes because they needed one more person to buy as a group before they deliver it to Singapore.

How did some girls start losing weight on internet? The motivation of community. Challenging each other who loses more, the comments on Instagram that goes "Looking good XXXX".

How did some people started cycling. running or any other form of hobbies? The power of community. Word of mouth. And this is exactly how Facebook and other platforms are doing it isn't it? Sharing the latest food or the latest happenings.

In a good office environment, we have heard something like this too often, "The job sucks but a job is just a job and having good colleagues is important and make things worth it. We laugh and cry together as a team." That is always why HR experts always stress on the importance of team building, company trips, dinners and dance which will allow organization to create better results. It's not just about another day running under the sun trying to find clues or doing trust falls. Those are just activities to help speed up community building. Solving problems together, achieving something as a team. These rewards are priceless and it is something that will keep building. And this is the power of community and love.

So what is your motivation? Choose your poison.

Mr.Smith, come come, kor kor give you love.

17 years ago today...

Smithankyou     6/27/2013 12:34:00 PM     basketball, kobe, MIAMI HEAT, NBA, sports     No comments
17 yrs ago today, a man was drafted. A legend was born. He might not be "the one" but he sure got more than just 1. In fact, he got 5.
Kobe Bryant.
Originally drafted by Hornets. 13th Pick.
Have you ever wondered if Kobe will still be the Kobe today if Hornets haven't sent him away? Would he have that much attention? That much space to be groomed? Played with great player like Shaq? Coached by Zen?

All this pointless what-ifs. But it's interesting to think about no?
And also...
I haven't been blogging about NBA actually. So just an update. Miami won the ring again. yuck.

Mr.Smith, Lakers 2014!

Mediacorp Meon3 at Takashimaya.

Smithankyou     6/22/2013 09:59:00 PM     3on3basketball, basketball, brandon wong, event, Events, hong hui fang, lee qiao er, mediacorp, tay ping hui, ya hui     No comments
Thanks to my reputation of being the SEX basketball blogger(actually I just coin myself that, all I do is wear basketball jersey and act one Lan si.), I managed to score myself some "backstage" passes at the recent Meon3 held at Takashimaya Civic Plaza.
Feeling #LikeABoss about this.
Not only did I went down to Civic Plaza to check out the event, I was also part of the promo event last month where I got my ass kicked in front of the school. (laugh.mp3)

On top of having some adrenaline pumping 3 on 3 basketball matches for basketball nutcase like me, it was pretty much a carnival as well for the public.

I was pretty glad that I didn't join the games as the intensity was pretty high, way higher than how I normally play with the gang. I love the game but I was never really a member of any "real" teams. I never had the "guts" or discipline to join a team. I would probably grow old and regret but oh well, I'm already regretting. Looking at these 3 on 3 games makes me a little guilty and at the same time ashamed of myself.

Anyway, they had fun games such as the arcade shooting machine, "slam dunk" contest, half court shoot out and what not for the non-competitors too! And yes, they gave out $2,000 to a lucky + skilful winner. She managed to score the ball in from half-court. No joke! The whole event was so happy for her even when we don't get a share of it. HAHA.

And the best part other than getting to watch some basketball action was to get real close with some of our favorite Mediacorp celebrities!

Not close enough?
Enough? I hope no fans gonna kill me for this.
This is Ya Hui aka Mat Yo Yo 姐姐 and she is not all pretty face on the court. Although I wouldn't say she is a pro or seasoned player but she did her best that match. She gave her very best and not only did she lead her team to victory but she was also the high point "man" for the game.

LOOK AT ALL HER FANS!
No words can sum out the excitement and fun that day watching the celebrities and the other sweating it out under the hot sun in the heart of Singapore. Thus, I decided to do a little video. It's my 1st video editing job after having a crash course from thecambelles while doing our MTV for #OMYSBA2013.

It was awesome meeting Lee Qiao Er again. She is so ever sweet and she was asking if I am going to play the game with them. Awww, she remembers me~ (Inlovebackgroundmusic.mp3)

Anyway, the event was an exciting one and everyone was pretty much toasted under the hot sun! And thanks for the company people! Especially the wife who has no interest with basketball nor events.

Thanks Maybeline for this and some of the other pictures!
The "house fly" wife, Maybeline, Ben and Me!
It's always good to see the Singapore's basketball market opening up to more youth and sponsors. Hope that this event will be an annual invite!

Mr.Smith, See you guys next year!

MediaCorp 3on3 Basketball - Meon3 with Jeffrey Xu 許名傑 and Elizabeth Lee Qiao Er.

Smithankyou     5/24/2013 12:00:00 PM     3on3basketball, basketball, basketballneverstops, elizabeth lee, event, jeffrey xu, magic johnson, meon3, michael jordan, NBA, penny hardaway, singapore     No comments

That's something my buddy @mambadt and I always say but how true is that?  My interest in basketball ball started young in the 90s under the influence of my brother - Will. Watching players like Penny Hardaway, Magic Johnson and of course the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) Michael Jordan.

I would say that that is the golden era of basketball in Singapore because of MJ. We will wait in front of the TV on Channel 12 on Friday night waiting for that 1 game to be telecasted There was no internet, no league pass and no livescore. We lived in a world with little information and coverage but still, the sport was very popular.

Truth be told that basketball haven't been in my life fully all these years and the media didn't help. Those were the years that NBA was not on our TV besides cable. The papers write 8-10 pages on a daily basis about how Ryan Giggs scored a goal but a 1 paragraph snippet about Tracy McGrady career high. All my peers watched soccer and nobody was playing or remotely interested in basketball. Those were the darkest day of NBA and basketball in local sports history. I lost touch with NBA ever since Shaq left Kobe after their 2000 - 2003 3peat. I knew that the Detroit won in '04 and only manage to start watching NBA again when Celtics got the "Big 3" and beat Lakers at the finals at about 40pts. But Lakers came back with 2 titles.

I always ask myself why. Why ain't our country's media putting in more effort on NBA? on Basketball? We have Stupid League soccer and even reality TV show like the "starting XI" for soccer but what about us basketballers? We have the only professional basketball team - Singapore Slingers. Is it because we do not have NBA fans? Is it because the viewership is bad and nobody is willing to title sponsor it?

Not too sure about the truth behind it but one thing for sure I was wrong, Singapore do have lots of basketball fans, in fact 200 teams of them and there are people who are doing things for the basketball community. Introducing.. *drumroll*

MEon3 The Ultimate Streetball Challenge by Mediacorp!

I was all excited about this competition when I first heard it from a friend and people around me was asking me to join them but truth be told is that I have always been a sofa NBA fan which means although I watched a lot, I play by the street, I have never been on any school team or represented any organisation before. I have never went for a proper training or competitive platform before. To sum it up, I am scare.

The good news is, although I am not going to be part of this major basketball event of the year as a player, I am 1 of the bloggers who gets to go behind the scene and cover the event! I was lucky to be selected along with Maybeline, Mint and Benjamin to cover this event.
Thanks Mint for sharing the pic!
Basketball Clinic

The picture above was taken during a FREE clinic arranged by the organisers for the school representative last week. The actual event is NOT over yet. (Read till the end for more information).

In conjunction with MEon3, mediacorp put up a free clinic for the school students and Mediacorp artist as well as the few of us was invited to join in the fun and played some games. We get to interact with the students, the coaches as well as Jeffrey and Elizabeth.

The Clinic

It was pretty cool seeing some of the students putting in effort during the coaching by Malaysia's NBL commissioner, Tan Kee Hian. Nope, not David Stern. I was busy walking around and all but I did watch a few moves he was teaching, like screening and moving the ball. It's pretty cool considering I was never part of any training like these.
The Game

Both Jeffrey and I was invited to play with the guys from Slingers and we were playing against some of the kids from the school teams.

I was talking to Jeffrey before the start of the game and apparently he has some basketball background as well. We grow up in the same era watching Jordan and Allen Iverson but he started basketball because of the Comic Slamdunk. Jeffrey is really a cool dude to talk with. He is really playful and full of energy!
That's me looking short beside the Slingers players. I'm sure there's another pic but it seems to be missing. :(
Before I know it, his game was over and it was my turn to play! I was kinda worried actually as the game is a really short  (3 balls) and I am teaming up with pros from Slingers that I used to watch. In another words, if we didn't win, the blame is on me.
Me taking a shot. Too much muscles.
The intensity was different playing with them and against the school team kids. Not only was I playing a little under pressure of my teammates, the kids were playing pretty close D. I am sure they really wanted to win and it's like "Hey, I beat the slinger team."

It was the 1st time I am playing in front of live audience. Mint was telling me how she was shouting and cheering on me and I told her, all I could hear was my adrenaline rushing through my head and the sound of my own heart pounding.

We won by 1 basket thanks to the team. I took 2 wild shot, score none, and 1 air ball. It was pretty embarrassing but it was really good experience I must say.

The Shootout

We than get to play a shootout game against a group of school team players lead by one of Anglican High's teacher. On our team was Jeffrey, Elizabeth, Teach from Bedok North Secondary School, Mint, Maybeline and myself. This time round I did score a basket and we won the game thanks to the teacher's winning basket. Elizabeth and the girls did pretty well too considering the fact that they kept saying they don't play basketball at all.

And yes, we get to play with Mediacorp artist Jeffrey Xu, Elizabeth Lee and a teacher representative from Bedok North Secondary School!  The Winning Team!

On Today.

Thanks to this event, we were on Today newspaper!

It's kinda tiny but you should be able to spot me and my name was mentioned! (Cheap thrill.) Read full article here. And if you are one of the kid there that day, spot yourself!

The Event

The actual event details:

Date: 15 and 16 June 2013
Day: Saturday and Sunday
Time: 10.30am to 6pm
Venue: Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza
And you will get to meet MediaCorp stars like (Director)Tay Ping Hui, Lee Teng, Brandon Wong, Yuan Shuai, Shane Pow, Jeffrey Xu, Ya Hui, Elizabeth Lee, Tracy Lee, Paige Chua, Zhou Ying and Hong Huifang!

And I am so so so going because I want to meet Tracy Lee!!

Of course there are other fun activities so come on there and see you there!

Future World Best Point Guard - Kiwi Gardner

Smithankyou     12/30/2011 02:41:00 AM     basketball, rookie, scout, sports, Video     No comments
Before we go on to words, watch this video 1st.

This dude is 171 cm and is still in his high school. And according to articles, he didn't make it to NBA yet is simply because of his age issues.

From this video, we can see that he is fast, aggressive, creative and accurate. Not to take credit away from him, I would like to point out a few things to viewers, be it you are NBA fans, basketball fans or simply just my fans. (puke), this is a mashup video which means he could be scoring 3-18 per match but we are not seeing the 15 misses here.  He might look fast and accurate on the video cause the defenders are slow and young. Considering that they are highschool kids as well. No? What he is doing in his league is known as creative for now but in NBA, you might be known as unorthodox and unpredictable. Basketball is a team game and it might be tough for you to bring your team any further.

Than again, he might be the future of tomorrow. His speed and size reminds me of Allen Iverson. His creativity reminds me of Gilbert Arenas and even Magic Johnson. Another point to note is that he is only a high school kid and imagine his puberty just decides to come late and come anytime soon, you will have  a 6"9 point guard. Familiar enough? No joke he will be the best if this is going to happen to him.

NBA is a very intensive league, physically no doubt, you play 82games each seasons with back to back games and against 7 footers veteran who are out to crash you and end your career anytime you mess with them.

So will he be the best point guard ever? Only time will tell!

Mr.Smith, I can be the worst point guard ever.. no?

Slingers Took Game 1 of the Playoff Series!

Smithankyou     1/31/2010 11:32:00 PM     basketball, SingaporeSlingers, slingers, sports     No comments
Singapore Slingers - won their game 1 of the 3 game playoff series at home this evening at the Singapore indoor Stadium. Being the 2nd seat of ABL regular season, the Slingers got a home game advantage against the 3rd seat - Satria Muda.

Slingers finishes the game at 87-68.

The intensity of the game during the playoffs was pretty different comparing to those of the normal season. Slingers played good defense today and the FG% was pretty good for both teams as well. This match was really good as it was a real close game until the 4th Qtr.

With this home game advantage in hand I am pretty confident to say the Slingers will be able to make it into the finals.

GO SLINGERS !

The Rough Patch - Agent 0

A very good morning Singapore. And this might be one of those post where 90% of my existing readers can just give a miss. Yes, it's about basketball and about NBA once again. Does that interest you? No ?

We are going to take a look at 1 of my current supported player - Gilbert Arenas aka Agent 0 and his Gun Possession Saga. How are the Wizards doing with and without Gilbert ? What actually happened ? And what is going to happen next ?

Life haven't been that great Since Agent 0 was last feat on NBA 08's cover. A great 2 season of injury and lots of negative reports on him. The 111 million dollar signing didn't do him any better, Wizards Fans was screaming that 111 million dollar could do the team much more than signing a "bench" player. I have no complain cause I believe in him as I'm both an Arenas and Wizards Fan. So we are all done with waiting and the stink Wizards had when Arenas was not around is all over ( so I thought ) when it's reported that Arenas is going to start the season. Wiz ended the season with a 19-63 record, it's almost as if the players played with 1 arm all the time. Looking at how Wade brought life back to the heats get me all excited about Arenas coming back. Will Arenas bring the Wizards to the finals ?? That was what I was asking myself, with addition like Mike and Randy. Nothing seems impossible for Wizards less injury. I was partly right, injury did course lots of disruption to the team. Before the season tip off one of the "big 3" Jamison was out. Bulter didn't play as well as the 19-63 season and just when all eyes was on how well Mike move the ball around, he too got injured. I was wrong, injury wasn't the only thing which could have gotten in the way, the guns did as well. To be frank even with Arenas back in the starting line up for the past 38 games, the Wizards weren't doing exactly well. Their direction was pretty unclear, it was obvious that Flip wanted Arenas to be a better point guard. Arenas wanted to pass the ball more and move it much and support the team but sorry to say that it's all easier to be said then done. The ball movement of the team was pretty bad and this new game didn't do any good for the "prince" Bulter and in fact I felt that there is some issue with the "Return of the King" and the "Fresh Prince of Washington 08/09 "

If you have been following the saga and all, we should know by now that Arenas has been suspended by NBA and what I last read that he might even be jailed for up to 6 months. So the story was about him and fella teammate Javaris Crittenton ( U have no idea who he is? Tat's fine, he's not 1 of those super star anyway. ) had a lil argument on the flight and Mr.I-did-not-play-any-game-and-i-like-to-talk aka Crittenton mention something like he could shoot somebody. And according to online source this was how the saga started and it all ended at the locker room when Gilbert brought out unregistered piston and taut Crittenton to pick one and shoot him. We can't blame Crittenton for what he had said for the action of Gilbert. The team is going through a rough patch ( 14 - 26 ) and this is the last thing we want to see as a fan. I felt that the pressure on Wizards was too much for them. All the "Agent 0 is back" and how well are they going to do and with "Flip" in the picture everything will be so great for the Wizards.

What is going to happen to the Wizards ? What will happen to Gilbert ? The team just got themselves two clean win since the absence of Gilbert. Is it too early to tell that Wizards are doing better without him ? Will Wizards be able to "drop the bomb" and have more caps to get another player before the trading window closes ? If Wizards is dropping Gilbert for the caps, will there be any other team who will need Arenas's service ? Will Gilbert seriously be jailed for possession of unregister gun? For sure Gilbert is out of the star factory but will he even be out of NBA ? Is this the end of him ? I am pretty sad to see a bright star's career just end like this. Although he did not come back to the season with the performance he was showing 3 yrs back but he did already did his contribution and was recognize by the rest back then.

For the best of for the worst, Gilbert have my support for sure ! ( For the game, not for bring weapons around )

A lil video to sum up the post -
