Happy Birthday Carrie and Ying Zi!

Smithankyou     5/18/2014 11:41:00 PM     birthday, cambelles, carrie, happy birthday, Michelle Ang, Party, Tee Ying Zi, Video     1 comment
A short post before the weekend is over.

Did this silly video with Michelle.

Feeling really tired this weekend from attending event, birthdays as well as the Cold Storage kids run.

I don't believe I still have a friend who is celebrating 21st. You know what that means? It means that I've a friend who is 9 yrs younger than me and who is actually younger than my sister. How the hell did I expand my social circle that deep down? Happy Birthday Ying Zi

Tee Ying Zi

I was telling Carrie that I need to give myself a medal. Despite the fact that I need to attend CS Kids Run at 7am I went to Carrie's Birthday Celebration at Neverland 2 the night before and slept at 4am. Best part was, I didn't even drink at the party!

Carrie Birthday 2013.

I mean I'm turning 30, married and there is not much of a motivation for me to be at parties beside some good company and a real awesome party. (Ok, and eye candy)

"You are just bias" that's what my wife always say. I only do things for people I think I want to but in my defence isn't everyone the same? And to be honest, I've a big list of friends but the list of friends that I'm catch a grenade for ain't exactly that many.

Carrie Sim
The 2 birthday girls and YZ's friend - Sam.
I mean I can't say that Carrie and I are like best of friends who hangs out all the time but we talk enough be it online, on whatsapp or at event. We have different ideas from time to time that spark off all the different online "debates" on our Facebook wall and I mean we are friends who are there for "those moments". We "like" each other's pictures and gives each other more "PTAT" on our pages and stuff. So can we say we are "Friends with benefits?" :X

That's the 1st time I met her in person at an event with who and who. We both have no clue what's with her breast in this picture.
Late night parties and early event don't work well together. X hours of sleep I've gotten there after didn't help. I'm still feeling so tired despite not doing much today.

I wish I could blog more about the cold storage run in details soon. This "hangover" is pulling me really slow.

Mr.Smith, good night and out!

Review of Forest Adventure at Bedok Reservoir Singapore

Smithankyou     3/13/2014 09:00:00 AM     activities, bedok reservoir, carrie, Events, Forest Adventure, fun, interesting place to visit in Singapore., Michelle Ang, Outdoor, places of interest, sponsored post     No comments
Part of the effort of staying active and healthy, we have decided to accept the challenge to visit the Forest Adventure at Bedok Reservoir.

Joining the wife and I are Carrie and Michelle.
To be honest, one of my best friends stays right opposite Bedok reservoir, I've spent some time in that area but I've never paid attention to this facilities and in fact I've never even seen it around before!

What is Forest Adventure?

As the name suggests, it's a tree top adventure course where you get to climb tree, jump around and slide around using the zip lines. More commonly known as the "Flying Fox"

Flying What? When the F*** did I fly? << #ThatsWhatHeSaid
When it comes to such adventure courses there will be a few common questions that hit most people before they participate so I will share with you some of these answers here.

  1. Is it Safe?
  2. Is it too difficult to complete? I'm fat, ugly, lonely and stupid. Can I do it?
  3. Can I skip any stations if I'm really not good at that station?
  4. Is it expensive? And How long is the course?
  5. The instructor pretty or not? (Maybe that's just me)
Is it Safe?

Well, take it this way, this is Singapore and anything unsafe shouldn't be operating but we can't compromise on safety and after visiting the course myself, I would say that the thing that impresses me the most is their safety procedures. They have these safety guidelines that not only make you feel safe and confident about joining but at the same time you wouldn't feel like it's too much of a chore to follow.

Something that really woah me was this "Red-On" safety function.

This "Red-On" is basically your ultimate life line system that will be there to hold on to you if you ever going to fall. The system is so intelligently designed. As long as you reach any tree top, that will be the 1st thing you will do, hook yourself up onto this. Why intelligent? Because it goes around the tree and once you are hooked up you will be be able to move around the tree and wait for your turn seamlessly but at the same time still feeling safe. Safety Precautions: 5 Stars

Is it too difficult to complete? I'm fat, ugly, lonely and stupid. Can I do it?

Well, I did it. I'm not very ugly or lonely, just fat. My wife who is not the smartest when it comes to hands and legs coordinating did it as well so I guess this course is not going to stop anyone. That being said, it is still challenging in a fun way. Not challenging till a point where you wish to give up.

This is the part where being a little "fat" can be a problem. I seem to be stuck in the net and Sakura from Ninja girl got really bored waiting for me.

How some of the course looks like.

Many felt that this was the most challenging.

Can I skip any stations if I'm really not good at that station?

Some of the stations are being executed continuously and some stages are a distances away from each other.  Technically I believe you can skip some of them as long as they are not those that are linked together back to back. That being said, there is no good reason for you to skip any stations actually. They are really pretty achievable. If the girls I can do it, so can you!!

The wife looking like a pro.

Ninja girls showing us their ninja skills

Michelle is seriously a dare devil. Nothing slows her at all.

One of my favourite shot taken that day by me of Carrie sliding down the zip line.
The real ninja!

Is it expensive? And how long is the course?

Grand course is $44 and the whole course took us around close to 3 hours so if you ask me I think it's pretty affordable for a whole afternoon of fun. In fact there are other packages as well as for kids too. Check out the full price list here!

Take the pretty girls pictures and go knock yourself out...

I know not everyone is here because you guys want to read my naggy writing and I also know you guys are here to check out the pretty girls pictures. So I shall not bored you longer with my writing. Go knock yourself out ya?

Michelle looks like Emmet from Lego Movie

Now you are safe with the helmet!

Act scare only.
Hum Ji Wife showing us what she got!
Carrie looking very serious.

I'm THE QUEEN OF THE JUNGLE!

How many ninjas can you find?

Upskirt selfie.

in my opinion this is the toughest station. I felt like I was falling off. But I still did it!
Don't ANYHOW PULL LAH!!
You get a cert for completing!
AHHH I'm SCARE!! This was the trial before you go onto the real thing.
Big package. Nice picture.

The wife really enjoyed herself and talking about going back!
I'm just glad it's over!

Overall

I think overall it's a superb experience especially when you are having it in Singapore because for 1 you hardly expect this to be in Singapore and 2 you know it is really really safe and only when you know it's safe, you can truly have fun!

I will totally visit the forest adventure again if there's an opportunity!!

Meanwhile don't forget to Like their Facebook Page for latest updates!

Bigini Day! - Happy Birthday Carrie.

Smithankyou     5/23/2013 09:30:00 AM     birthday, blogger, brover, cambelles, carrie, sentosa, tanjong beach club     No comments
What is better than go naked day? Bigini day of course! Can you imagine everyone naked with their tits  and di di dong hanging? It is true that it is better to have some clothes on sometimes and last weekend was my 1st visit to Tanjong Beach Club. (It's true.)

HAR? So Suah Ku?
It was pretty interesting as it was my first visit to the beach with Brover! So can Brover swim? NO! He is actually scare of the water but running around with him at the beach was really fun!

Sorry cats. It's just us.
Anyway, before I digress anymore, Happy Birthday to Carrie of the Cambelles. Actually I have no idea how I picked her up on Twitter. And yes, I've said this many times and apparently this is how "heartless" I am. I can hardly remember much about my friends these days. :(

Although we haven't been friend for that long but she is one girl I really like! Although she is young and look like a typical party girl and that's about it but inside (not beneath her clothes, I mean really inside.) she is very mature. She understands a lot of things many peers at her age doesn't. Not too sure is it because of what she gone through or it's just in her. Whatever the case I admire her style of doing things, treating people around her and of course her as a blogger and PR person. I would say she knows her stuff and I really enjoy working with her.

In case you people clicked this post just hopping to see some bigini girls. I am not going to disappoint you okay?

cambelles in bikini
That's Carrie on the left!
And than now guys, back to me okay? It's my blog after all.
The camera was being very kind to me that day. I look kinda good no?
Don't ask me what was the dog doing. I has no idea.
Fan girl found PSY on the beach.
This is Richie Rachie! Carrie's "sister" who co-own the blog and also my ex-colleague!
Apparently I wasn't the only one with a good camera day.
That's me playing with my head in the public. LOL.
And to my horror, I just realize that I didn't take any picture with Carrie the birthday girl besides the picture using the insta camera!! =.=

Anyway, Happy birthday Carrie!!

Mr.Smith, bigini bigini~
