Looking for a new phone? Got a bit tired with using the same phone as everyone else? Want to try something new and different? Let Ah Beng Smith from "Mobile HAIR" (not mobile air hor) introduce you this brand new player in town.

The Brand New KATA M3
Like many of you, I also said "Kata?" when I 1st saw this phone. Kata is a new brand from USA. They are designed in USA and like many other phones, assembled in China. Kata brand is making inroads into Asia with Singapore as the regional headquarters. We might be a little red dot but I always feel proud when business chooses to have their head quarters in Singapore! Also means we get better costumer care! YAY!

The Hardware

Kata M3 is actually 150.9mm in height, 76.6mm in width. 9.5mm in depth and weights 181.5g with battery. Above are pictures of how it go against the apple iPhone 6 Plus.  The grip is actually pretty good for me. The size is just nice for my palm size. Yes yes, it still goes into my pocket comfortably too.

The Camera

I am not sure about you but as silly as it sounds, the camera is actually a very big deciding factor for me when I am buying a new phone. I know, I sound like a 19year old girl. haha.

The Kata M3's 16MP rear and 8MP front cameras are now made even better with its Gorilla Corning Glass cover. As the name suggest, it is now better and more durable! GPGT (Got Pic Got Talk).

What Is The Size of Your Sim Card?

Detailed Look of Kata M3 hardware.
We will always panic when asked what is our sim card size every time we go overseas and looking to purchase a data sim card. It is not a life changing function but this small little detail shows how detailed orientated Kata is. It really gives us a lot of convenience and not need to run around looking for sim card cutter. #SizeDoesntMatterAnymore

KataCloud

Sorry poor res, print screen lor. :X
One of the thing that I am really happy about Kata is not just the phone but they actually have their own Cloud known as the Kata Cloud. It comes free with every purchase. It is not 1 GB, 2 GB or 10GB.. it is 35GB!! 35GB!!! Can you imagine how much porn document you can store???

Elegant Efficiency
The best part about Kata is that this piece of elegance is not going to burn a hole in your pocket. Not only is it value for money it is also readily available. You can actually buy this at the comfort of your desk in your boxers at Lazada. But if you are an old skool shopper who likes to feel the product before purchase, you can always pop by to the Kata Store at Orchard - Lucky Plaza, #01-51, Singapore 369546.

TL;DR Version

Hello,

I was browsing over the web for reviews about Kata M3 and I happen to have read your review.

I wanted to know more about the camera's performance - I understand you've tried it and the shots we're excellent. On the other hand, I wanted to know how the shutter speed performed?

Did it lag or was it quick when you took snaps of photos?

Cheers!
