Remember the post where I mention I was down for one of Motorola's Launch Events ?
Laziness took over me and I didn't post anything on the event other than the previous teaser post.
Nevertheless, let me share with you guys some pictures which was taken back on the day itself.
Mr.Motorola ( Not THE Mr.Motorola but I kinda miss his name so ya..) was sharing with us the selling point of the phone (Motor Blur is the name) being the social network part and how he connect back to his friends and relatives using these tools while he was away from the country.

So other than food and drinks and FAQ about the phone there's pictures taking. ( nothing new for bloggers events right ? )
Nothing new.. Taking Picture of People Taking Picture.
That was how the Motorola Dext was first introduce to me. Although there were FAQs and test sets, I still have some question for this phone which I suppose most tech reviews will not bother as it's some very minor functions of the phone but these functions are actually some of the key functions I will look at when I am getting a phone as a consumer. ( Cause I am really thinking of which phone to get. Iphone ? BB ? Thx to 247 Hat Party where I got some spare vouchers to spent with Singtel ! )
1. It has both touch screen and QWERTY which is something I really like, but are the screen sensitive enough and the hardware buttons well positioned ?
2. I wonder if their video and mp3 functions are as user friendly as an Iphone ?
3. How's the battery life ?
4. It comes with 2GB micro SD and can support to 32GB but will the phone lag ?
5. It's Android, I've nv do anything on the Android.. Will it hang ?
6. Can I customize this phone ? ( from wallpaper to theme, ringtone and even sms tone ? )
7. Will Android, be like WinMobile ? ( I have got bad experience with WinMobile)
8. I like to twit and Twitpic and FB mobile upload pictures, I wonder if this phone can do all these easily ?
9. Is the phone book easy to manage ?
10. How many keys must I press before I can type a new sms ?
11. Is the ringtone loud enough ?
12. How's the alarm clock function ? ( Yes there IS a difference )
13. Most importantly is the signal clear when I am talking on the phone.
14. Why this phone and NOT Iphone ?
With all these questions in mind, I am going to answer myself and share some of the findings with you readers with the help of Blair Waldorf. ( That's what I call the Motor Dext Test Set I have with me. The Dext 1st caught my attention because of the 2 tier phone outlook which looks identical to those phone they use in Gossip Girls Season 1 )
So lookout for my updates on TMD2 ( The Motor Dext Diary) if you too are thinking of getting a new phone. (BUT not the iPhone because you do not wish to be like everyone else)
