Pokemon GO . Madam GOH!

Smithankyou     8/09/2016 10:00:00 AM     happywifehappylife, pokemon GO     No comments
As you should know by now that the Pokemon GO has hit the shore and I wouldn't even say that it created a wave. I think it created a massive Tsunami.
This is only half of the people there that night. And this picture was taken at 11 freaking PM at night! #Iwannabetheverybest
The park near my place which is always almost empty suddenly got all vibrant because of the pokemonstop.

And the most surprising thing is that even the wife is into it. She hardly even knows their name or what are the pokemons for but she is so addicted to it.  (And if you haven't figured out the title, her last name is Goh.)

Just look at her! Baby missing, lunch waiting, but no, Gonna CATCH'EM ALL!!!!! HAHAH! Never seen this woman so passionate about anything before.

Good news is that taking a picture of her only needed one hand. hahaha.

But I guess there's some good about Pokemon GO for us. Considering that her work doesn't allow her to use the phone a lot, we really do not text a lot during the day. And usually after I put her and my son to bed at night, I will hit the computer and continue surfing porn doing my work in peace. But with Pokemon GO, she actually text me during the day to update me her new catch and even before bed time! HAHA. See, more interaction as a couple. Well done Nintendo!

Don't mind my vulgarities and bad English while texting. LOL.

How long will this game last for us? And how has this game change your life? Not sure about you but I'm pretty sure this will go on for awhile at home.

Gotta catch em all!

#SmartWifeIsSmart - 32nd Birthday Edition

Smithankyou     7/12/2016 12:50:00 AM     birthday, happy birthday, happywifehappylife     No comments
Learning new skill for retirement. Doing painting at Chinatown
"Why did you draw a statue of liberty?" "For the death of freedom"

As promised, I am trying my best to blog a little more so I shall be shameless and wish myself a happy belated birthday.

I'm not big on birthday celebrations but I am a big fan of gifting. Be it Vday, Birthdays, Xmas or simply just random gifting. It is not so much about the physical items but gifting to me means how much you know that person and how much that person is actually on your mind.

Like I've this friend who buys me boxer shorts during her trip. Yup, you read it right. She buys me undies because erm.. we had this conversation about how boxer shorts vs boxers vs briefs and what's the difference and I had never tried boxer shorts. And since then she got me two from two different trips. And they are erm.. pretty comfy to be honest. And I think about her when I put them on. Ok, it's beginning to sounds a bit weird. Sorry Nic.

ANNNNYYYWAYYYY....

I didn't get a 32 tables birthday party with 300 friends of mine at a expensive hotel nor a expensive present but instead we spent some time together at a simple art jamming session and dinner at the dancing crab. Not bad lah, quite lucky to get at least a decent dinner when I thought all I'm getting is... to help with diapers changing. HAHA.

Sauces are so hipster I cannot.
Even fries are hipster. Truffle fries.
Nope. The crab was pretty dead when it was served. No dancing or jumping.
I'm loving this apron look. Probably should add it to my fashion accessories list.
Dancing crab was pretty good but it is wayyyy overpriced to me. It's not like some fancy dinner but it was pretty decent. I actually went online after that and did some snooping around and found that they actually have very good discount if you have an amex card. My wife has a very big problem in life which is not knowing what to eat. So I was telling her about how good this deal is and maybe she can sign up for the credit card as well... And...

#SmartWifeIsSmart

Happy Birthday to me.

My Husband Is Gay.

 Smithankyou     5/11/2016 02:52:00 PM     happywifehappylife     4 comments
When in Tiong Bahru, do as the Hipster's do.
So we all know how the wife likes to troll me with her awesome comebacks. So the other day...

I mean I do get it pretty often from people saying that I give off kinda like gay vibe because of how "hiao" I am lah. And I got my fair share of being hit on by gay guys even at Zouk. But for my wife to judge me! Wah lau eh. I mean I do spend quite a bit of money on clothing, shoes, bags and now even facial product. Also spending quite a bit of time in the gym but there is nothing wrong with man wanting to look good righttttt.

Not like I'm driving around a pink car with hello kitty on it. XD

And thanks to facebook memories, It actually started some time ago.

Got judged for drinking cider!

And the other day while I was doing photoshoot with the team at Tiong Bahru aka Hipster Land.

Eh, my wife never give chance leh! Not even sure if it's a compliment or not. :'(

Life Changing Decisions

Smithankyou     5/03/2016 03:40:00 PM     diary, happywifehappylife     2 comments
What is life? That was one of those topics that came out the other day during a session of beers, whiskey and cigars. Some said that it is about living your dream and blah blah blah what not motivation bs which obviously I wasn't listening to after a few drinks. (Okay, maybe it was more than a few. Was high AF.)

One of the smartest guy on earth. Not because he created Facebook but because he minimised the amount of decisions needed to be made daily by always wearing the same thing. Genius!
To me, life is about decisions. It has been said something as small as the flutter of a butterfly's wing can ultimately cause a typhoon halfway around the world. We are the result of the decisions we make each day. Who would I be if I have studied harder during school days? What would I have become if I took the job opportunity from years ago that will send me out of Singapore? (A lot was going through my mine still despite all the alcohol. Or was it thanks to the alcohol.)

I thought that one of the biggest decisions anyone can make is getting married. As much as I am a big girl fan of snappy love poems and romantic hollywood movies, I feel that sometimes love just ain't enough in a married and it is something that nobody should just jump in because he or she got sweep head over heels.

Don't worry, I'm not getting a divorce yet or something. I think no one is as blind as her to take me in lah hor. So I better be guai guai and hang tight. HAHA. Anyway, these train of thoughts were brought to me because, a close friend of mine is actually going through a divorce and he was telling us about how messy it is and about getting a good divorce lawyer in Singapore.

He is going through so much now and it is giving him such a big headache. (Explains the boys night out) From splitting his assets to making sure everything will be taken care of at the end of the day. It was then that I realised that falling in love and getting married might not be as big as a decision to make as compared to actually getting a divorce.

I really cannot imagine the whole process of getting a divorce lawyer in Singapore, going through the whole process of breaking things up, breaking your routine, telling your parents about it, and living your life without the other person anymore. I think there's really no good way this kinda situation can be handled and we can only try to cushion the fall that much.

Love is really like a battlefield and everyday we try to do our best to not kill each other care more about each other and keep this going. You know, happy wife happy life.

Dating Parents @ Restaurant Week

Smithankyou     3/26/2016 09:50:00 AM     diary, happywifehappylife, Restaurant Week, Zafferano     No comments

Hello from Bali!!!

No lah, this picture ain't taken in Bali. This picture was taken 2 days before I flew off to Bali for my trip. It was taken at Zafferano during restaurant week.

Lousy quality picture by iPhone. Too shy to bring my camera to "atas" restaurant.
There are two types of people when it comes to food - The "Live-To-Eat" and the "Eat-to-live" and I am obviously the latter. Being a Eat-to-live simply means that I eat for the sake of eating and in fact I hate meal times because I hate to decide what to eat regardless of daily meals or fancy food meeting. My mum or my helper can cook the same dish for me everyday and I will never even complain. Eh, so that's how boring I am when it comes to food.

Since the arrival of lil Seth and my work piling up, we hardly have much time for sex proper dates, so I decided to take the wife for this Restaurant Week thingy for a fancy lunch (at a really reasonable price, niaopok hubby. HAHA.) and maybe a movie there after to spend some time together.

So we woke up early, got ourselves dressed up, deposited the kid over at the parents' place and headed over to Zafferano at Ocean Financial Centre .

Forced Made her pose for an  #OOTD thanks to my new obsession of taking photos.
Dating never seems to be the same anymore for us since we became parents (OH NO!). Despite the place being fancy, service was top notch and with pretty decent 4 course lunch, we actually left within an hour. HAHA. Eating became a no nonsense or chill pill thing for us.

I mean we did talk lah, not like we just went in and stuff our face fat and left. We talked about important things in our lives like how I'm stuck at my "Call of Duty 3" game and I feel like giving up, considering COE is quite low, should we change a new car or plan for our 2nd kid (WTF, not so soon please) and also who we can jio for more Mahjong Sessions over the weekend. We even took selfies and OOTD all but I have no idea how but we just managed to kill it so quickly.

Carbs! Gluten! My number 1 nemesis.

We then caught the movie - Zootopia, since her cousins were raving about it during family dinner the other day. But guess what? We both felt asleep in the cinema half way through. Not sure if the show was bad or simply because we got too tired from taking care of the baby. Haha.

Despite us being tired or cutting the date short to pick up Seth earlier than we planned, I think such dates are still very important to keep the magic around instead of just being stuck at home and become "uncle and auntie". No doubt we can talk all we want or do anything together at home but I believe that dressing up and going out for something fancy once in awhile is a way of appreciating each other too!

And by the way, allow me to show off my view at Bali!

It is a nice beach! I did not upload a picture of Sentosa and pretend I'm at Bali hor!
And yes, if you guys are wondering, I am out of town partying working without my wife and Seth. #YouAllDamnKaypo

MY WIFE AND HER COMEBACKS #4

Smithankyou     3/17/2016 08:00:00 AM     diary, happywifehappylife     No comments
My one true love. I'm taking about my son obviously. You do know this post is going to be about how my wife pwn3d me again right?

Some times I just can't believe that my son has already been out and with us for over a month!

And also can't believe how I married this woman thinking she makes a very dainty wife who will let me win in all the conversations?

Obviously not thinking.  (Or got scammed.)  : (

My wife and her comeback #3

Smithankyou     1/20/2016 08:00:00 AM     diary, happywifehappylife     No comments
Angel face but very mean when talking to me!

I am not exactly the most knowledgable person or someone who did very well academically. Neither am I one of those that has very good looks. So, I always give credit to the fact that I am a lucky man for what I have in life. I thank people that came into my life and gave me help without expecting returns, people who gave me opportunities, and people who believed in me. And also of course, I thank myself for being how witty I am and the ability to do public speaking.

Of course, according to my wife my public speaking skill ain't exactly being appreciated and also from this conversation you can tell she is the one who is more witty. ()!^@$!*^@!

Do hang around this place while I find somewhere to hide my face. (and cry)

My mother always says, the silent dog bites the hardest.

Outspoke . outplayed . out-of-the-bed-and-onto-the-sofa (I mean me)

See, woman scare of stupid lizards and roaches but very fierce towards husband. Not sure how that works. LOL.

My wife and her comebacks #1

Smithankyou     11/16/2015 06:10:00 PM     diary, happywifehappylife     No comments
For those who knows my wife (actually nobody really knows her. She is like batman.) or actually met her before would know that she is a woman of few words when she is out in a social setting.

She might be a woman of few words but she always make sure it makes an impact.

And I believe a lot of my friends are actually very big fans of hers(shooting me) from the number of likes I get. You will see more.

I really wonder if they like her or just hates me.  -_-

#ChriSmith Actual Day Wedding Photo Shoot

Smithankyou     11/20/2014 04:35:00 PM     #ChriSmith, 1stjournal, actual day, happywifehappylife, Singapore Wedding, wedding, Wedding shoot     No comments
Been almost 2 months since #ChriSmith party but it sure seems like yesterday to us. We still talks about it a lot even though the planning was a bitch but boy am I glad the event itself was pretty awesome. #SiBeiHeng #BLUECHEESE

I can't thank enough for these brothers and sisters of ours that made the day really fun and easy for us. Although I actually kinda hated the idea of gate crash right from the start, it ended up pretty fun I must say.

Boys will always be boys and a major to note is that boys should never try to be like a woman. Why?

Because this.

Photo taking FACE OFF! (Literally) Theme 1: DUCK FACE!

We can easily tell who are those who duck face a lot!

Theme 2: BLOW JOB KISS!

Now we know who are the ones who blows very well. LOL.

And final one which is kinda like my favorite!

Here you go! Now you got uploaded onto the unicorn's blog and people will know you.

P.S. Please do not Kiss kill me.

Really appreciates how "onz" these peeps are considering many of them do not know each other prior to that. I've heard so many horror stories about boring brothers or sisters who can't get along like trying to be alpha etc. I guess it pays to be an awesome friend right? :p #Shameless

Thanks everyone again!

Now you guys can look a bit more normal~

Mr.Smith, BANG BANG!
