My Biggest Buy Of My Life !

I was on leave yesterday but I woke up 6am in the morning ! Why you ask me ?

We woke up early and took bus 28 to ? - Toa Payoh HDB HUB!!!

YES !!! We were there to buy my biggest buy of my life (so far)! HDB !!!

The Buy

There is actually a forum for this BTO thing and I was actually told to look for the machine to register but so happen it was down on the day and we had to enter sales room 181 to get the registration done.

Saw the other couples walking around and still looking at the model and deciding which unit to get. The feeling is so sweet and so exciting ! It's like everyone is moving forward to the next step of our life together !

Ah Dum looking all serious listening to the HDB service staff. I must really give credit to him. He knows the process very very well and manage to ans all our queries and go through all the documents with us slowly and in very clear details. Thumbs up to him !

Smile but still look stress.. must be because of the 20 odd thousands dollar of down payment, but thanks to CPF we do not feel the real pain !!! I LOVE CPF !!! PAP FTW !!!

The Happy Ah Dum and Ah Fat ! And you must be wondering who took the picture ? Yes ! It's the idiotic lil'sis of mine. We manage to get her up and went out with us,but of course she got her benefits too - Free Movie and Dim Sum Buffet Lunch !

So excited about getting the house, lots of planning to do next ! The proposal, the ring buying, the ROM, the wedding, the renovation.. omfg..

oh yes yes yes, we got our HDB confirm before the proposal and everything.. what to do ? BTO takes 5 years leh !!!

I still can't believe i am getting a house of my own and a wife.. EEEEK !!!

Same Food, Different Restaurant, Different Experience - Thumbs up to Tonkichi !

Was at Tampines Mall's newly opened Tonkichi for dinner last night.

After the bad experience of pork vs chicken curry rice at Ma Maison the night before, I decide to order curry rice again and hopefully it is better and will satisfy my craving for really GOOD curry rice.

Without a doubt, I am giving Tonkichi 5 stars, double thumbs up !

Not only is the food good but the service was really above all, the staff were polite, makes you feel at home and really make all service staff in the industry proud.

They offer me more rice and more sauce and they do everything with a smile on their face.

Although the price is slightly more expensive ($24 for my curry rice), I must say it is all worth it. The good service, free flow of curry and rice and nicely fried fish and the really nice ice water.

So what is the big deal with the ice water? I have visited so many restaurant I suppose they are the ONLY one who will actually bother to change a chilled glass with more ice in the glass for you after a period of time.

what can i say ? WONDERFUL!!!

So please do visit !!

It was pretty okay..

didn't do much other then walking around the place for this safety audit thingy..

learn pretty much as well.. somethings which is like always around us but it nv seems significant enuff for us to notice..

and read up some information..

i am pretty happy with where i am so far.. i got a proper cubicle, a pantry which will be clean by a cleaner daily,and a toilet which i dun need to refill the toilet papers myself..

and what's best ? a 4D betting station right below my office.. and summore is the biggest one !!

and talking about that..

Something really lucky happen to me yesterday...

It was like 4 plus and i decided to talk a walk round the mall one more time to know the place and think of what i can do for them.. as i walk pass Singaporepools i was like " hey.. it's my 1st day @ work and it's wednesday.. let's give my luck a try man ! "

I went in and i pick up the betting sheet and i start filling them up..

"eh.. what number shld i buy other then my fav birthday date leh ?? hmmmm.. ah ha ! since my new office is at level 5 and my extension is 104... i should..."

It feels weird when i am telling people that i am busy tomorrow cause i am going to work..

work ? it was just like 3 weeks ago when i was telling pple i just quit my job..

lots of NEW things entered my life within this short time span of unemployment man..

a new queen size bed !!

it was a new year for me..

celebrated my birthday.. didnt have a long week of celebration like the pass few years but i suppose it was good too..

celebrated with Liping,Keong,Jestin and Dum Dum on the 2nd @ cartel ( no pictures )

celebrated with family @ home on actual day ( photos on facebook, yet to do edit )

celebrated with dum dum @ benten - iluma ( got pictures.. but lazy.. the japanese food was realllly good !! )

wanted to celebrate with keong @ mambo but was postpone to other day..

kinda like celebrated but it was normal.. had dinner with some of the normal pple @ xin wang..

present bagged this year - free meal from liping , braun buffel belt from dear dear which i really like, meal and red packet from mum n dad, 1TB HDD from junjun and korkor ( but yet to buy )

new LCD monitor - nooo.. i nv buy.. is my fujitsu mei mei lcd spoilt riao.. bring to fujitsu and change lor.. dunno when can collect ( yes i am using my dumdum's old laptop.. abit lagg.. but still okay )

a new toy ! - finally... after long time of not buying transformers.. the TF movie hit me fast and furious.. a 5 star show lor.. got myself bumble bee.. really nic details.. thumbs up for this toy.. ( pictures are inside dumdum camera leh )

3 new ps3 game this month - 2nd hand - Virtual Tennis and DBZ burst limit and the latest Dynasty warrior empire.. cant wait for modern warfare 2 and tekken 6 !!

best of all - a new job !! a new beginning !! yes.. afer 4 interviews they finally accepted me and i will be reporting to work tmr morning ! sure hope i can produce good result and dun disappoint them.. excited about the job !!

and because of my new job.. i kinda got erm..some.. maybe abit more.. erm.. u be the judge lor..

YES !!!!

My passport is settled !!!

and it's new !!!

I was so worried on Saturday when dumdum comes to me and ask me " so u got the letter ? "

S : "OH NO !!! what letter?"

D : " without the letter how u go and collect ur passport.. who knows which passport is urs ?? "

S : " Sweat =.=||| "

Went down and open the letter box.. " HENG AH !!! GOT THE PINK SLIP !!! "

So i took halfday off for the morning to pick up my passport.. but i reach ICA building like at 8.30am and i'm out before 8.35..

the process is REALLY FAST !!!!

I love Singapore...

but i am going Hong Kong for now.. my "fling" ... muahahaha

Foreplay : I could have posted this post like few hrs back but i was like slping the whole day and i spent the rest of the time playing bejwelled on facebook...and i really suck !!! i score 6,800 on a game and i just dun believe it how come i cannot beat so many pple.. !!!

Foreplay 2 : Importance of personnel branding really works ! And so i thought my superman branding only works when i send email and during work but it did work out of work too.. Price.. abit more then Fish and Co.. Food quality is better.. as in the sea food is much more fresh but the method of cooking loses abit to fish and co i would say.. and if i am not wrong their price is abit steeper comparing to fish and co.. but i must say it's all good and the service is nice too !!

I see alot of potential in this mall.. big space.. good tender mix.. great location !!

And then Clare and Cyn join us and we did some random shopping for a pair of jeans and shoes as Clare was like underdress for our next location.. but he decide to go home and change in the end.. so the rest of us decide to takes a break..

Supper club !!

The place is like really really cool.. the pple there are cool.. the food and decor are cool.. and best of all? u get to sleep on bed !! oh no.. that's only the 2nd best.. the best best is that the toilet is actually unisex !! i like !! = )~

It's a club.. a restaurant.. a very unique place i would say.. It's @ Odeon Towel level 2.. beside bras basah complex..

but then again.. there's a problem when u are all lying on bed..

Cynthia sure ain't the best person to get if u need a wake up service..

And we paid $65 for a 4 dish dinner !! And ya.. we have no idea what are we getting.. it's a random thing and u just have to tell them if u have any food allergy..

It was a pretty cool trip.. but for those who are on budget hor.. better beware.. we ended the day with the bill of $95 each !!! time to eat grass !! hahaha.. it's really a high society kinda life i suppose.. the man there are mature looking.. the woman there are hot and rich looking..
