Wooo !!! This is my post #500..
Man.. i dun believe i blog so far with all my crappy and lame writing..
so what shld i blog about to commemorate this event ? Since we are on the topic on how did I come so far to post no. 500.. let's talk about "Motivation". Not exactly the kinda celebration post i suppose but i thought it can be something i like to talk about and to share with my readers.
At this point of time, i must disclaim that there is not going to be any picture, any good food or game review and no sex no cleavage.. it's just going to be words.. since that is the mother of diary writing and blogging in my case.
Many people around me ask me, "Smith, u are always so positive..you are driven and passionate about everything u are doing..what's ur secret ? "
I believe i have shared with some of the peeps how i do it.. It's seriously all in the mind..When i was in the army some call me OCS some call me motivator.. i dunno about u guys but i talk to myself very often..( In my head.. not out loud ). There are a few things which always runs in my head when i meet challenges and difficulty, but of course it's not a 100% sure work thing..I still get into EMO mood and feel down once in a while.. (Comon..give it to me man.. even condom ain't 100%.)
Some of few sentence are as follow :
- If every father mother son can do it.. so can i (This really bring me pass army)
- Nv, I mean NV compare.. ( Seriously it hurts when u compare.. )
- Look on the bright side !! ( This is pretty a in depth topic..shall talk in another paragraph on how we do it )
- Smith rocks and u suck _|_ ( just copy.. backspace my name.. fill in my name and u can use it.. yes.. i am so into this and u can't replace it w ur name.. haha = p )
- It's _____ soon..hang on ! ( This is one fun element which keeps me moving too.. this is the basics of motivation..shall talk about it in details too.. )
- I am happy cause i did _____ ( this is the basic of being confident.. be happy w what u have and what u have done.. always give urself a pat on the shoulder..if u can't do that.. at least get someone to do it to u.. share what u done in a day work w closer friend.. this is important.. cause if ur friend is not close enough.. u might sound very much like u are boasting or wat we call "Hao lian" )
So you see.. we have to keep ourselves moving.. the world moves on without u, u see.. so u dun sit down and make noise and hoping things get better.. if u dun help urself.. no one can..
So how does the "look on the bright side" works ?? This is a damm bloody simple and dimwitted method to make myself feel better, but it works for me.. I can't out with this while i was in the army.. pple make noise about guard duty.. pple make noise abt chinup pple make noise abt simply everything.. but for me.. i appreciate everything..erm.. almost.. less some of my OC's lousy decision..
let me give u an example for easy understanding..
If u kenna guardduty - u kbkp
If I kenna guardduty - i say heng ah.. at least not on nites out nite
If u kenna guardduty on nites out nite - u kbkp
if I kenna guardduty on nites out nite - at least not on friday nite
if u kenna guardduty on friday nite - u kbkp
if I kenna guardduty on friday nite - at least not on weekend full day
if u kenna guardduty on weekend - u kbkp
if I kenna guardduty on weekend - at least it is only ONE weekend
i suppose by now u already get the drift of this thing.. it's just THAT simple.. telling myself it could have been worst and it makes me feel better already.. stupid u say ? it makes me a more positive and happy person..

4 goals a day for myself
3 additional goals per week
1 additional goals per month
1 additional goal per year
What are the very simple goals ?
4 goals a day -
Lunch Time, Knock Time, Home to see love ones, sex ( no.. i dun get it everyday.. but i hope i do.. so is consider a goal too.. u set them doesnt means it will happen )
See.. it's just as simple as setting something to make u look forward and work towards.. but of course dun make urself damm nuan and just look forward lah..remember.. it's all in ur mind..
3 additonal goals per week -
Meeting my little natnat and abby, playing my weekly basketball game, spending time with my dumdum. ( other than work, get something to let urself relax.. for me it's family, love ones and my passion.. sports )
1 additional goals per month -
not obvious enuff ?? PAY DAY !!!
1 additional goal per year -
Nothing else but the bonus !!
but of course i believe alot pple do this.. but in a more highend way.. meaning u guys start to loose the part of u where u appreciate little happiness.. u guys set bigger goals "Europe trip by dec" "Birthday party coming march" I mean yeah.. all this works u know.. but it's kinda far ? and every now and then u drop out or worst still once it's over u feel worst den 0.. u are like negative.. so have some consistent goals which always happen and still appreciate their importance..
bottomline is that we dun need to move slow in order to move far.. but we have to keep moving in order to be somewhere..
I hope u guys find this useful and enjoy reading it as much as i enjoy typing.. I know there must be some typo or grammar or lousy pharsing somewhere or everywhere but comon man.. appreciate this.. i didn't do draft u know ?
