Hey, I have a racist joke, you wanna hear it?

We all know about the importance of saying the right thing at the right time, just as important as wearing the right thing to the right occasion.  You don't wear red to a funeral or like many Chinese believe we don't wear black to house visit during Chinese new year.

But, is there a good time for a racist joke?

We probably crack a few at the bar with your close friends. (maybe you don't, I'm not sure.)

We can't crack those jokes for sure in the public or national TV.

Neither are we allowed to update your twitter, Facebook or blog with it because you will get judged, Retweeted and the gahment might also come and kick your ass.

But....

There are people who gets paid dollars to do it at a comedy club.

I'm not complaining, I love stand up comedy, I love these guys but my point is how come we can let our hair down, take a chill pill and laugh at these but we get so agitated on other scenarios? Is it because we are behind closed doors? Is it because these people in the comedy club paid for the jokes so it's okay?

I'm not saying that we should practice racist comments or joke like a daily thing but I'm just saying sometimes we need to take things with a pinch of salt. That's the only way we can achieve racial harmony, when we don't take things so hard isn't it?

Anyway, love your race, love your friend's, have a happy ever laughter! (for those haven't watch one ah, pls go go go!)

P.S: to prove I'm not racist, this is my favourite malay friend and I - Fadilah. LOL. Oh a French guy, another Malay Squid and last but not least the Indo Minah. oh oh. and Mr. KFC.

#Kumarshow on 7th March 2010 !

I have always been a fan of Kumar since I saw him TV. He is who he is and he is the best at what he does. I have watch some of his show he done with the company previously for DnDs as well as some of his online videos, boy he is really good I must say. I miss his show last year and I told myself I am not going to missed it this time round no matter what.

It all started with me asking @avnjl if she was interested during one of the party and then I went on twitting about it and I must say the turn up was more than I expect. Through twitting and re-twitting and before I know it, I have got 19 people on my list going to the Kumar show together. Some I've met and some I've not but we all COME together with a common goal - to watch the#kumarshow ! Once again - the power of twitter.

There's too many jokes too funny and too much for our gahment to take for me to share, thus I am not going to share his joke. The #Kumarshow surprise me as I went with a mindset of all joke all laughter but Kumar ended the show with a very impressive video of his life and it was pretty motivational I must say.

The thoughts he shared which I really feel for him is that the importance of one's determination and not being pulled down by others. Regardless of what other people think about you, you push yourself to another level with the belief in your head that you can do it and you can achieve it. As funny as it might sound but I think Kumar will make a good motivational speaker when he is done with his comedian career. He sure earn my respect, that's for sure.
