In summary, it is about this man who knows that his wife was cheating on him and he created a blog to record some findings and emotion about it and it was brought to attention by readers and now his wife knows about it and she is feeling ashamed and wish that he could take the blog down and not blow this matter up.
It is pretty usual of me to have opinions over such scandals or news but I am kind of lost of words for this case.
I do not know where to start. To have a cheating wife, you would also need another bastard to be in the picture. So is it the man's fault or the woman's fault? Is there something lacking in this marriage that leads to this? Who holds the real responsibility? Did the wife admit just to get over and done with and she is just too lazy to explain herself? So is it everybody's fault? Or is it even about who should be taking the responsibility anymore? I am not judging anyone here as I do not know anyone nor the details. I guess this is just one of the many other cheating cases in Singapore just that this one has a little spice to it for being on a blog.
It seems to me none wants to do anything to save this relationship anymore. It seems to me that there is no good ending for this marriage at all. How did it all started? Or rather, how did it all ended and the cheating started? End of the day, it is all emotions. When such things happens, it happens and your heart just takes over your brain.
We all got into relationship loving each other(or mostly) and that part has to be true. So what makes people change their mind and move on to the next person? Is it because the other person is better? Or is it the current one ain't who we think he/she is?
I think it's hard to get yourself out of such situation once you allow yourself to slip into one. Or at least nobody is walking out of such a situation unharmed or not hurt at all. Prevention is better than cure, I guess one shall just avoid putting yourself into such a situation. That being said, I am not saying that one shall not have social life with the opposite gender once you get married or neither am I saying that you should restrict your partner's social life. It might just make things worst. I am just saying that don't put yourself in possible situation of a scandal.

If you were in this position, what would you have done? Would you have done the same in tracking her down? Would you have started a blog to name and shame her? Or would you have just close one eye and just "have your fun" outside as well just for the "well being" of your kid to have a "complete" family?
This puts me thinking, how many couples be it married or not are really happy? Happy with their lifestyle, financially, sex life, family matters and etc. I've heard so many people telling me that they are still in a relationship simply because of commitment, HDB or even just because they just wish to settle for the sake of settling. Are we that sad? Is there any true love out there?
All said and done, I think the biggest victim here has to be the kid. Growing up not only with a broken family but knowing that the mum cheated and these images and conversation are all over the web. I hope no newspaper are going to disclose any of their pictures.
I can't imagine myself in the man's shoe either. I hope everything will get better for him one day and not let this affect his work.
