Childcare Centre in Punggol East - Problem?

Smithankyou     2/07/2013 12:48:00 PM     current affairs, politics, singapore     No comments
Although I have been blogging for years and one of my favorite topic to read is social and current affairs, I never really want to blog anything about Singapore Politics Scene.

From Yahoo.com - Dr Jiajia is voted MP!
For a few very simple reasons

1. I do not have 1st hand news and neither am I at many of these scene myself, blogging anything about it just make me an armchair politician where I just believe what I see online or on mainstream media which both doesn't justify a lot. They are both in extreme end of the spectrum.

2. I do not want to be the next Yawningbread. I respect that guy and I love his article. If you haven't have any idea what happened to him: here

Bottom line about blogging about politics in Singapore - it is like jumping into a pot of Chocolate Fondue. It's hot, it's sticky and it makes you look like shit after awhile. And yes, you will still be eaten up(by the one who controls you).

That being said, I would like to share an article taken off from http://andrewlohhp.wordpress.com

Welfare of children as political football

“As for childcare centres, Mr Teo said these will be difficult to facilitate as they are no longer the representatives for the area.” – Channel Newsasia, 5 February 2013."

I read this over and over again in my head. Are these facilities a chip in their hand to manipulate people's choice of vote? Isn't these "help" and work done by gahment? When I say gahment I mean everyone of them and not PAP. I have to point this out again, PAP is the leading party, not the gahment. Gahment consist of everyone on the hot seat. Correct me if I am wrong. Did I not understand anything correctly here?

I think the article has expressed anything and everything I wished to and I could and doing it much better. Good article I say.

Mr.Smith, who wanna be MP - Kee Chiu.
