Hi all! If you are searching for a guide to power-level your Diablo 3 character on the Nintedo switch, you have reached the right place. It doesn't matter if you found my site through Google search or because someone shared this article on Facebook, welcome.
I will include my nintendo switch friend code at the end of the article but before you jump to the end of the article and just add me for power-leveling, please do read this article first so everything will be easier for everyone. And also because nintendo switch doesn't have a chat function and adding everyone onto Facebook is too much work thus I've decided to write this post.
I'm not saying I've everything right and I'm writing this from my personal experience, so feel free to reach out to me via Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. Feedbacks are always welcome!
- I only have season characters. And you too should start season characters. The season quest gives you one full set item upon completion and it is very helpful to kickstart the game. That also means that I can't power level your normal or hardcore characters.
- I will usually power-level anyone from my friend list together. I will invite according to your level. If my game is full, sorry I guess you will have to wait or try again later.
- I'm on a barbarian and I've 2 main builds. 1 of them is a speed build which I will usually bring him in if I'm trying to get you to level 70 quickly. The second, my immortal king build is a little slower and it's usually used to help players to level up their paragon levels as well as legendary gems. He is a more durable and stronger build. I usually give priority to level up of new characters to lvl 70 as I believe they deserve more help.
- I will usually run rifts to level up for new characters. I will only run grifts when all other 3 players accept, if anyone click cancel or do not have a grift key, I will just run a normal rift.
- I do not usually help players to clear quests for season or like hellfire rings, key wardens etc because of the lack of communication via the console. However if we are just playing and not power-leveling and every players know what we are doing, feel free to invite me to spilt bounties or crawl higher level grifts.
- For power-leveling, let me do the invite. For a few reasons, 1. I will bring you to higher lever for new players, 2. As mentioned earlier, I tend to mix other players together, not only does it speed the level up for everyone cause of the xp boost, it also allows me to help more players. And it's also a good way to meet new friends. Feel free to add them via the game itself. Just go to the party tab, view their page and add them.
- Do not touch any shrines unless you also have a nemesis bracers. It summons enemy champion that will speed the game up. So just let me do the honour.
- If you are a new player/character, you will notice that I will quit when you hit level 60. It's not because I got DC but that's the part where you are allowed to go to a higher level for higher xp. Don't worry I will invite you again. Just hang on.
- Do not waste time trying to look at your gears. With power-leveling, you will outlevel all your equipments within the session. Just salvage all the white, blue, and yellow items. Do keep your legendary items as you can keep it for your cube to extract their power.
- UNLESS, you have a helmet with socket. Please put it on and throw in the biggest red gem you can find. Please put on Leoric's Signet or Leoric's Crown. It will help to boost xp gain as well.
- You will noticed that I may not clear every mob on every map as it is faster if I just go on to hit the larger group of mobs. If you have problem trying to outrun them or you keep dying, don't worry, the map will be over sooner than you think. LOL.
- If you really hate dying, stay near to the entrance, as long as I'm still on the same map you will receive the xp. However if you spot a legendary item dropped in the middle of the map, it might be a little tricky. Like I mentioned, I don't clear all the mobs. Once you noticed I've headed down to the next map via the mini map, you can choose to head back to town, click on my flag and port to me. This method works but it is a bit troublesome as you will lose xp to loading screens or worse, spawn right besides me when I'm hitting champions. So I would prefer you try your best to keep close and loot along the way. Gems are very important. Do help to pick up the rift balls or whatever it's called.
- I will always head back to town the moment the rift guardian is down. Try your best to pick up every item instead of running around trying to hit mobs. When the countdown is over, you will also be teleported back to town.
- If we are running a Greater Rift, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE talk to Urshi at the end of the map and get your legendary gems upgraded. You cannot keep the level for later use. The game cannot go on until you have done this. I've encountered it many times with new players and I do not blame you but because we do not have any ways to communicate we would have to quit the game and waste the xp gain. We then have to quit the map and not invite you for the next game because you didn't know this. So please take note.
- The timezone where I am from is Gmt +8 and I'm usually active from 9pm onwards. If you see me online during the day, I'm probably playing because I'm procrastinating on work in the office and would not be able to power-level you much, so do avoid inviting me. LOL.
- If you invited me and I've cancelled you or did not reply, please do not invite me multiple times. I might be trying to Grift to a higher level myself and the multiple pop-ups ain't helping. LOL.
- A full process of getting a new character to level 70 is around 40mins or so if nothing goes wrong. (This timing will be updated periodically as I level up and get better myself.)
- I will continue to update this list as things come up. So do remember to visit for updates. I will pin this post on the top of corner of the blog so you guys can keep it as a reference or share this with your friends who need help.
About Me
I'm just a fan of Diablo from Singapore. I've been playing Diablo since some 20 years ago from Diablo 1. I've got Diablo 3 on my PC, PS4, and now Switch. I'm not a pro-gamer nor do I have the best build. I just enjoy the game a lot and do not mind the grind. The reason why I stop playing much on PC or PS4 is because of the lack of community. The reason why I'm offering power-level is also because I want to keep the community alive and also help newer players to get a quick start for this game without getting kicked or scolded as a noob. However, to truly enjoy this game, you should finish the story mode yourself at least once or get a few friends to complete it together. The real game starts when you get to learn how to build each characters differently. There are a lot other sites online that offer build tutorials.
Do reach out to me if you have any other questions and I might just write more posts to answer them or answer them via my Instagram account - @Smithankyou.
Feel free to add me and I will try my best to power-level anyone regardless if you are a new player, new character or a seasoned player but new to switch and wanna get back quickly. My Friend code is SW-0588-8320-2905.
