What should he be when he grows up?
This is fatty. Okay, maybe I should give him a better nickname but as of now he is still my little fatty. We were having dinner and this conversation came out from a friend, (in the context that being a parent is very stressful.) what if your son grows up and choose a professional that you really disagree?
"whhhuuuttt???"
I mean my parents never really cared about what I do for a living so it never came across my mind that this is something that I should poke my nose into right. I mean what can go wrong? I mean as long as he is earning an honest living I am really okay even if it is arts related like dancer or tattoo artist etc cause I am really into arts.
So I went back and gave it quick thought. Here's 5 career choices I hope my son will eventually end up with. Not in any particular order:
1. NBA PLAYER
Fine. Maybe this is a little far fetch but it can be true when you believe right? I don't need him to be like Kobe and all-star level but as long as he become an NBA player it is not all bad. I bet you didn't know that NBA players earn so much that even a bench player is a millionaire.
2. Owner of a mega chain pub
I know, F&B business can be a bitch but you know. The whole idea of retirement can be so so so fun if my son is doing it right. I will probably be 60-70yrs old old man. Judge me all you want. LOL.
3. Lawyer
Not only is it cool but it's MONEY!!! With the increasing number of divorce in Singapore I really think there is a very big big market to be a divorce lawyer in Singapore.
Yeah, I will be RICH!
4. Arm Dealer/ Weapon Designer
Erm, I don't think I need to explain much for this right?
5. Anything he want to be
Ok lah, to be fair I think he can be anything he wanna be. Regardless if he wants to be a dancer, a designer, a tattoo artist or even be like a serial business explorer like his dad. Yeah, I'm not a full time blogger for the 10,000,000th time. Thanks!
