Singapore Comic Blog?

So besides being awesome online, having a day job, online shopaholic and all which I already am, I've always wanted to be like a comic artist when I was younger. Not because I am good at drawing but because I think being able to express your ideas by drawing is always cooler than writing a story book. No surprise considering I prefer to read comic over books but I am sure there's a lot of people who begs to differ.

I mean given our market it is really not easy to be an artist less say drawing silly pictures fighting and people pay money for it. It is almost like asking people to read my blog post but they have to pay 70cents a day just to read these crap. (or worst)

Like most people who can't be an author and decide to write blog instead, there are also many interesting blog out there that uses comics to express themselves instead of being published as comics.

One of the few are like my fella blog awards winner in 2014 - 女飞侠！ Her blog is actually pretty entertaining and her drawings are always very nice!

And not to forget one of my favorite comic blog since years ago and she actually had her own book! The bitter Stick Girl! And inspired by her I actually did try to draw some stuff over the years but you know, not the most talent and also not the most hardworking in drawing again and again. Introducing Ben Ben Diaries 

I am very lucky to meet this comic artist neighbour of mine when i shifted into my new place at Punggol. Of course, this guy doesn't do it full time either but he has a very interesting portfolio including working with some of the famous local comic artist who includes our local favourite - Mr. Kiasu.

Being a good artist doesn't make him good on the internet as well but I sincerely feel that his drawing should reach more people and should be read by more people. So with this in mind and my not too bad internet skill, both of us decided to embark onto this new project - Ben Ben Diaries Wordpress!

Ben Ben Diaries is a series of comics about, well, Ben who is his son and himself. The little incidents that tickles but send you a subtle message at the same time. These comics were published mainly on his own Facebook page and now they are in the mist of being imported onto the blog. So if you like what you see, do support Ben Ben Diaries!! (But don't pangseh my blog hor!)
