Looking at my love of technologies and gadget, it is not true to say that I am a true believer of electronics product. Think about it, there will always be a day where “technology” just decided to turn his cold and loveless back on you. Waking up late for work as your (koff “I” *koff) phone’s alarm clock didn’t ring due to software issue. Your computer decides not to startup and gave you a blue screen of death and maybe even your GPS is down and you have to go to a place where you have no idea how to go.
It sure sounds like nothing more than just a sucky day. I sure hope this doesn’t happen to me (or you) too often but I am sure there is one of these many technologies that always fail on us. ( or at least for me) And that is home printer.
I never ever had faith in personnel home printers. The ink is always more expensive and there are times that we just have this idea that we should just pick up a cheap printer at the IT fair instead of buying just ink. And after printing maybe 10 sheets of your school project and you leave the ink to dry again. There are many issues why I hate printers too, like the slow printing speed, the software issue, unable to print in A3 size and even the slow startup speed! Being a member of a small firm we too use home printers in office although I did have experience with the big office printers from Fujixerox. (Trust me, those are the best things around. I would so love to have one at home. It is awesomeness at it’s best.)
With these information in mind, I am totally not a believer of home printers but I still went ahead with attending brother (it’s the brand, not my brother) new printer’s launch and waiting to be impressed. I must say that the launch was pretty well done, with the tagline, the venue (although I have to like climb 20,000 number of steps to reach there) and the product demonstrations. Me being the usual skeptical person will not comment and say that the printer is very good at this point of time as I have yet to use the product myself. Not even after the awesome product demo which demonstrated certain functions which kind of impressed me. For example, it is able to print A3 size sheet and even color A3 size sheet, has a good print speed, able to print double sided through autofeed (yes, it saves your problem or thinking which side to flip, this side up or that that down.) and it even comes with an iPhone app which you could easily print documents, pdf and even pictures directly from your iPhone. And the best part about this product is actually it’s retail price is actually very very affordable.

They actually have this really awesome TVC during the launch but too bad I can't seem to find it off the net as it's a really new deal.
On a random side note, I really love brother’s tagline actually. “At your side”. No doubt it doesn’t tell you a lot of their product but it’s actually sharing it’s brand essences of giving good service and will not turn his back on you which I hope it’s true since I am considering getting one.
